Chapter Text
“Nicole, I - I wanted to ask you something before we started with the interview. How did you feel when you were told you showed symptoms of antisocial personality disorder?” Maury Povich stared at Nicole, the camera lens all pointed in her direction.
But Nicole just shrugged. “I don’t know. That was forever ago-“
“When, specifically?”
“Look, dude,” Nicole huffed, “I know you’re just trying to exploit me or whatever for views, and I don’t care. As long as you give me money for being here, shame me however you want.”
Maury’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion. “The purpose of this program is to let the youth of America know what’s in store for them if they engage in delinquency.” Nicole laughed, a short, fleeting moment of acknowledgement. Maury’s eyes widened slightly.
“Bitch, what’s your definition of a delinquent? The guys from 8 Mile?” Nicole smiled. It was barely noticeable, but her squinting gave it away that she was making fun of him.
Then again, who didn’t Nicole make fun of?
