With Minerva giving a befuddled blink after he was done before giving off a laugh ,"ooh are we playing charades~ I do love charades~"
Courage sighed.
"sometimes i dont know why i even bother" he said to the audience
Before focusing back on Minerva knowing that he was in for a long trip ahead....and he had to keep not only Muriel safe...but also Minerva safe too.....and oh Eustace too he supposed
(Later)
Not long after, the truck parked close the docks just outside a majestic cruise ship with people already boarding
"Here we are everyone~ And doesn't it look just lovely.." Muriel gushed out as she and Eustace got out of the truck with Minerva climbing out of the back with Courage following...huffing and puffing as he carried the luggage
"yeah yeah..where is the money?" grunted Eustace
With Minerva arching a brow at this before stating dryly to Courage, "nice to see he has his priorities straight." she said to the dog wondering how a sweet old lady had married someone so blatantly greed and crabby
"you dont know half of it" the dog said as the group moved to the boarding platform where some guests were already boarding.
"mama big ship!" called a little blonde girl from a stroller alongside a big dog and a couple
"Oooh you called me mama~" The woman gushed out as her daughter usually called her lady, "And yes Mindy this is a big ship~" she added with a laugh, "And you'll get plenty of chances to play on it with Buttons while mommy and daddy are having a romantic get away~"
"ohhh i can wait for our ship romance to start my love" a fat pink hippo called at a fat blue hippo.
"neither can i love of my life" he said hugging and kissing the woman
"Out of the way, out of the way Fools.." Said a arrogant voice that Courage recognized belonging to Li Chung, "i'm here to party and get rich fools!"
In his eagerness he pushed a lovely light pink bunny to the ground
"hiss!!" that made an orange kitty angry which resulted on her grabbing him by the arm and smashing him a couple of times on the ground and then and him flying to the sea, "Are you okay Bunny?" But the orange cat was more concerned with the bunny woman, "Hehe always when I have you Kitty~"
Answer back Bunny before giving Kitty's lips a peck
"well this seems a good start for my vacations" a doctor with thick eyebrows and mustache said on the sides
"I can't not wait to meet some lucky ladies yes~" He added with a chuckle while another bald man spoke to a rather attractive blond haired woman, "I really need this vacation away from the office....and the warners especially.."
he added looking nervously around still holding out hope they wouldn't appear
"easy doctor remember...you are here they are not...you are here they are not." Said the attractive blond rubbing his back consoling.
"Yes..yes I am and here and they are not...I am here and they are not.." the doctor repeated with a strained tone evidently in need of this cruise quite badly
"seems we will meet a lot of interesting people on this trip" said Muriel excited "i cant wait for it to start"
"I just want me money!" Eustace grumbled out with crossed arms
"well we wont do anything just standing here" said Minerva "lets get on board" she said walking towards the platform (making more than one male to turn on eh direction) where a red cat in a captain suit was waiting greeting the passengers
With Courage turning pale and shivering at the sight of him
"Welcome to Katz cruises..where we hope you get the ultimate sea experience of your life" the captain said in a soft cool tone
"Thank you~ I just hope this cruise lives up to it's promise about helping passengers find love." Minerva said her tone turning slightly sultry, "I really need a brave strong man in my life~"
The cat purred at the mink eying her up and down
"I can assure you madam...someone like you certainly will find love around here" he said with a coy smile
"Ah why thank you~" Minerva said with a giggle while Courage approach carrying her luggage but giving a low growl while glaring at Katz
The cat returned the glare and as Courage passed by..he put his leg on the way making him stumble
CRASH
and fall
"Urggg..." Courage found himself giving off a pained groan on the deck while Katz shot a subtle smirk at his pain
WHAM
Which only got worse when the luggage that had flung up when Courage was tripped landed hard on his head
causing a giant lump to grow on his head.
"stupid dog look what you did!" Eustace yelled in anger before looking behind him and pulling a horrible green mask " ooga booga booga booga!!!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" With Courage jumping up with a frighten yell at the sight of it
"hehehehehe" Eustace laughed
WHAM!!!
before getting hit by the rolling pin again
"OW! What did I do?" Eustace muttered out dazed while Muriel shot him a stern frown all while Minerva stood off to the side watching the entire thing with a slight blink
But then moved to help Courage who landed and was buried by the bags
"Are you okay?" Minerva asked with a frown and perhaps a rare concern for others outside herself as she pushed the luggage out of the way revealing his groaning form, "Hehahahahaaha~" The dog simply laughed before falling to the ground only for Minerva to catch him in her arms instead
"Oh my...poor doggy" she said petting him
With Courage finding himself turning bright red but also enjoying the sensation it felt nice....maybe even...dare he say it....better than Muriel petting him?
Much later the cruise was already navigating out into the ocean.
"hello passengers, Captain Katz speaking welcoming you all aboard Katz crusier where our goal is giving you the ultimate travel experience of your life" the cat spoke to the ship "out current destination is 25.0000 degrees North and 71.0000 degrees West in a beautiful point of the the sea where you will get a diving experience like no other"
"Oooh deep sea diving~ Doesn't that sound lovely my love?" The Pink Hippo asked her husband witha gush, "Not as lovely as you my sweet~" The blue hippo answer back with a smile
"Bah who cares about some fishes...i want my money!" called Eustace
"And also we will have our fishing competition where the winner will win 1M dollars in cash" called Katz
"Like I was saying i'm the fishing champion!" Eustace tune once again changed as he let out a cackle rubbing his hands together greedily, "Umm a million dollars...with that kinda money I could retire...and never have to deal with the warners ever again~" The bald man from earlier stated with a dreamy tone
"HA fishing?" Di Lung called "easy!! i will be rich in no time!" he extended his arms
SMACK
that end up smacking the head of the orange kitty who growled at him
"Uh...nice kitty..." He gulped out with a nervous grin only for Kitty to pounce on him with a dust cloud forming with shouts of his pain exuding out from it while Bunny just watched the sight with a slight blink
"so for now just sit back and relax...have fun using our top installations and enjoy the buffet and remember..Katz is here to make this journey and pleasant one"
"Somehow I really doubt that..." Courage muttered out fretfully where he stood on the deck looking over at the other passengers new faces and some surprising ones he knew alike
"oh how excited" said Muriel "I cant wait to test my new camera in this trip" she said holding up a ENORMOUS camera before pointing it at Courage "say cheese"
FLASH!!!
And shoot a second-sun-like flash
Which of course blinded and dazed the dog causing him to go stumbling around the deck, "Uff.." before bumping into something that caused him to fall over or rather someone he realized as his vision started to return
"hehehe careful puppy" said Minerva now wearing a really sexy pink one-piece swimsuit
the sight of which caused Courage tongue to roll out with a gasp as he stammer out nervously unable to peel his eyes away because that swim suit left little to the imagination and he found himself asking how anyone could be so, "beautiful.." He said between his stammers before blushing bright red as Minerva let out another giggle
"hehehehe thanks little guy...i just decided to dress more comfortable and take a swim" she said making poses causing some close by males to lose their heads
"Oh my...my heart rate is racing..." the doctor with thick eyebrows and mustache muttered out
"Urg..ah...ouch....what a sight...fools." Di Lung moaned out on the ground
"Oh my.." With even the near by Bunny and Kitty finding themselves looking toward Minerva...though their attention was also caught by the dog laying beside her, "Kitty isn't that?" Bunny whispered out as Kitty gave a nod easily able to recognize courage
"Yeah i think it is" said Kitty
The sight of the dog bringing conflicting feelings to say the least she was eternally grateful for his help in savings Bunny from Mad Dog and being the main factor in reuniting them....but she was also hit by a lot of guilt for how she treated him simply because he was a dog
"you think we should say hi?" asked Bunny
At that Kitty frown with a unsure look, "I'm not sure if that's the best idea." She said with a guilty expression, "I didn't exactly leave him with the most positive impression of myself."
Bunny looked worry at that.
"well...you wont know if he is angry of anything unless you talk to him" she put a hand on her girl´s shoulder "doesnt need to be now..but maybe you could use this time to apology?"
"Well...I supposed I should at least apologize." Kitty admitted as Bunny gave her a proud smile
"thats my girl" Bunny kissed her cheek "and we have a full cruise to do so"
Some time later many of the passengers were lounging or enjoying the pool on the deck
Or more exactly.
Plenty were enjoying seeing certain white mink sunbathing
"lade de lada da..." The mink in question sung out while applying sun tan lotion to her arms and legs
not far, close to a buffet, Courage looked nervous around, Half expecting something bad to happen, half paying attention to the Mink
He felt like a pervert but ever since meeting her earlier he couldn't take his eyes off her or get his mind off her....which also made the current situation with Katz scheming something all the more stressful!
He thought with a low whine
"Hey Courage" Muriel called to him giving him a glass of juice "the sun is quite strong and i bet Minerva would appreciate a drink" she said with a smile "why dont you take her one?"
At that suggestion Courage went stuff and he nervously stammer while shaking his head with Muriel simply giving a giggle, "So shy how adorable ~"
she gave him a little push
"Come on Courage...be nice" she said with a giggle
Courage gave a gulp holding the juice glass as he nervously went over to Minerva while Muriel watched with a smile
gulping the dog made his way towards where the mink was; shaking all the way with the glass
Was he really doing this.... going to give a very very pretty girl a drink....no biggie.... right.... RIGHT?!
Just go there...give the drink...nothing more...easy..right?
Courage gulp walking closer and closer to the mink who only seemed to get prettier the closer he got snd he could hear his heart banging like a drum
he was closer...and closer...and closer
"out the way dog!! i'm going for a cannonball!!" until he head Di Lung voice followed by something pushing him with force
And next thing Courage knew he was hitting the pool water while the glass of juice was flung high inti the air straight toward Minerva
SPLASH!!
"Epppp!!!" causing the cold liquid to fall on her warm skin
"Urrrrg! Who did that?!" Minerva shouted out angrily feeling the sticky juice against her fur, "because that wasn't funny!"
"uggg..." Courage complained as he got out the pool
With Minerva attention suddenly turning to him with a upset expression, "Courage! Was throwing juice on my lovely fur your idea of a joke?!"
"ugg na ah" Courage shook his head denying that but ended up coughing water out
With Minerva scowling down at him with a stormy look causing him to let out a nervous whimper
He tried to explain but Minerva turned angrily, Slapping him with her tail (sending him to the water again) and walking away angrily
Splash
SPLASH
"Coff Coff..." Courage surfaced a few moments later rubbing his cheek and sending Minerva back a sad look and whine, "Heheh way to impress a girl you fool!" Di Lung exclaimed while swimming backwards
Courage groaned in both pain and embarrassment
While allowing himself to sink back into the water in humiliation as Di Lung laughed, "Oh my.." seeing all this Muriel gave a concerned frown seems like playing match maker for Courage might be a wee bit trickier than she thought
"Oh my...thats..bad luck" said Bunny also having seen everything.
"Indeed not the best way to impress a girl." Kitty agreed with a wince before getting a thoughtful look, "say Bunny.." she looked over to the love of her life who arched a brow toward her as a idea started brewing in her head
A idea to thank the dog....Courage for what he did for them...and a idea to help her apologize for how she first treated him at the same time, "perhaps we should....help him." Kitty said with a slight tentative tone
"help him?" asked Bunny "you mean...want to play cupid and help him get that mink?"
"Well he seems taken with her...and it might be a good way to thank him for what he did for us." Kitty explained as Bunny gave a slow understanding nod at that point
"i get it" she smiled at her "and i will say..its really cute that you worry about him" she said touching her cheek in love manner
Before adding with a out of character for her teasing smirk, "should I be jealous~" she asked as Kitty found herself flushing at both the question and the look in bunny eyes
"Ah no ah...no...course not...well I...we...owe him a lot...that's all.." Kitty nervously stammered back
Bunny smiled before kissing her
"im teasing you" she said "lets go help Courage and then maybe i will tease you other ways" she winked
And as Bunny pulled her along all kitty could think under her flushing fur was....god she loved this woman.

While this was happening Katz was at the wheel wearing a sinister dark smirk, "It's all coming together quite nicely.." He said with a dark twisted chuckle as he not only had a good sized number of guests for his plan but also that infuriating dog on board as well...only this time it would be he who emerged victorious!
He will have his revenge on that dog and in the process use him to get what he wants...two birds one stone.
or would it be a big fish a lot of bait?
At that Katz let out a dark sinister chuckle, "Hehe Kraken meat how delicious and genius~" He said with a smug smirk, "people will pay through the nose for a taste of the legendary beast." He added glancing over his shoulder toward a menacing statue depicting the fear sea beast in question...The Kraken!
"And all I needed for my plan was the bait.." He added looking out the window where he saw his clueless passengers having the time of their lives oblivious to their true fates
"And what bait i have...all perfect to attract a hungry kraken" his eyes focused on the retreating Minerva "some more than others"
After all stories were filled with beautiful maidens being sacrificed to ferocious fearsome beasts~ "Granted it's usually dragons but what are krakens but the dragons of the sea.." He added thoughtfully while giving a shrug
"if anything he might like some sweet in his food" he chuckled
And at the sadistic Katz looked out into the horizon feeling that soon his prize, fortune, and revenge with a side dish of devious delight was in his grasp and this time...his eyes narrowed with a dark glare and smirk, "this time not even that annoying stupid dog can stop me~"
he said chortling
