"Hey, has anyone heard about ARKS!'s latest song?"
A video, clearly a music video is shown playing on someone's screen, the music video's illustration and editing are like background actors in a movie, accentuating the lyrics and the music composition. All of these features formed a beautiful piece of art, an art that gives people a certain peace and melancholy vibe. But on the other hand, the comments are slowly but certainly starting a chaotic discussions, a complete contrast from the music video playing.
"ARKS!, who the heck are they?"
"WHAT!! You have never heard about them before? They are an online music circle who appeared like two to three years ago."
"I love them so much!! They are so impressive, like from the composition to the mv are all done by them."
"I doubt that one person can juggle all these stuff, bet it's a group of people behind the scenes."
"Yeah, they're like REALLY good!! You should definitely listen to it."
"They're that good!! Well, I'm so gonna check them out then."
"Oh my, I just listened to it and it is definitely one of the best things I've ever heard in my life!! Totes 10/10 <3"
"You betcha!! They are songs are not only good but also very relatable!!"
"They usually create songs in all types of genres but yet they never fails to ends up a masterpiece!!"
"It's almost creepy how it touches the soul."
"Indeed, it never fails to cheer me up after a horrible day!!"
"Speaking of the people behind ARKS!, who do you think they are?"
"About that, I don't think anyone knows. After all, they are practically anonymous to the public eye."
"But I love whoever is singing the songs, cause their voice are never constant but yet they always eat every single time."
"EXACTLY!! The vocals are always so mysterious yet you just can never seem to get over it!!"
"Hey, don't just give credits to the singer. What about the person who is behind the music video? They are so good!!"
"I 100% totes agree with you!!"
"All things aside though, ARKS! is a pretty weird name, isn't it?"
"Oh! ARKS! is just what everyone calls them, their actual name is- "
In the midst of the night sky, stars painted the midnight like a beautiful painting, the moon shone brightly as ever, its rays of light acting as a source of light for Silver, who is currently staring at the laptop with a slight disappointed look on his face as he stares at the music software displayed on his laptop screen. He has been drowning himself in work, trying to create a composition that fits an entirely new genre that is practically a stranger to Silver. He lets out a sigh before resting his back against the wall, seemingly came to a conclusion that he was currently undergoing an artist's block.
"Oh, how am I gonna even create a composition based on this genre? I guess creating a song based on the EDM (Electronic Dance Music) genre is tough work. Maybe I should ask Alice for some advice. I mean, she has always been skill at all types of music instruments. She might be able to give me some useful advice."
Before Silver could continue his note-to-self, a small growl coming from his stomach instantly snapped him out of his thoughts, taking note of the dinner that he had forgotten to take due to accidentally falling asleep in the greenhouse and only waking up after Sebek nearly flipped the entire school upside down searching for him. The silver-haired teenager spent no time getting out of his secret corner hidden away in the lounge and make his way to the kitchen, where he was met with the sight of a wrapped up mushroom risotto sat on top of the kitchen island. A note, clearly written by Lilia if the heart at the end of the letter has anything to say about it, Silver smile as he heat up the food before taking it back to his corner and starts digging in after saying his gratitude. While enjoying his food, he did not forget to check the laptop screen in front of him where the ongoing call in Nightcord which contains all four of the members, all of them presumably working on their own individual parts of their next song when a bubbly voice could be heard from his earphone.
Kaede: Hey, guys. Sorry that I told so long, I was getting some water just now and- Oh! Alice is online now!!
S: Glad that you are back, Kaede. And we are just working on our own stuff just now.
Alice: And yes, I'm online now. Sorry, I was busy working on the song. Y'know a little mix here and a little tuning there. And before I know it, I got distracted.
Silver could not help but let out a chuckle upon hearing the latter's voice, her voice has always been a little soothing and relaxing, while Kaede's voice is no doubt full with radiant sunshine, he unknowingly reminds Silver of Kalim. Unfortunately, his thoughts were interrupted by a voice laced with a slight anger mixed with a type of exhaustion, which belongs to the one and only Ririd.
Ririd: Seriously, Alice. You need to always be aware of the time, you know!!
Alice: Oh? But weren't you also late for like a few minutes? You told me that yourself, y'know.
Ririd: I- That was because I-
Upon noticing that Ririd was clearly at a lost of words because of Alice, Silver decided to intervene and quickly change the topic, decided to ask Alice for advice as he quickly turn on his speakers, double checking it once again before speaking as he recalls a past event where he has spoken for a while only to realize his speaker has been turned off the entire time.
S: Alice, if you don't mind, I would like to ask you for some advice on instruments that are suitable for an EDM song. I unfortunately had no idea how to create a music composition based on this genre.
Alice: Huh? Oh, of course. I would love to help you out, but before that I am almost done with the final music track. It just need a little more tweak, could you help me on that, Kaede?
Kaede: Of course, just send me the file and I'll get straight to work.
Alice: Sure, I'm really glad Nightcord exists as it's very hard to find any texting or chatting apps that allows you to upload large files.
Ririd: Well, I must agree with Alice on this one. And, I'm still working on the mv but I will be done with it within this week.
S: That's good to know, and I assume you will get started on the next project right?
Alice: Obviously, I mean it's Ririd we are talking about, the workaholic of the group.
Ririd: Alice!! You-
Kaede: Now now, let's not start a fight. I'll make sure the track is good to go by tonight so Ririd will be able to complete the official mv, while S and Alice will be discussing on our next song. Let's get back to work, shall we?
'Thank goodness Kaede came to the rescue, otherwise this will be a pretty chaotic night again.' was the thought that lingers in Silver's mind as he sighed in relief, though he could no doubt feel the wink that Kaede sent to him through the screen.
Ririd: Your right, I apologize on nearly starting a fight.
Alice: Same, sorry about that. Let's get started on the discussion, shall we S?
S: Indeed, we'll stop at 3 and if anyone wants to leave early could do so.
Alice: Working together at midnight, ANARKIST strikes to create masterpieces once again!!
Kaede: Exactly what Alice said!!
'This is how ARKS! is huh... ' thought Silver as he began his discussion with Alice while the others work in comfortable silence, with Ririd constantly giving some of his own advice and Kaede added his own suggestions in between conversations as Alice and S take notes on their opinions, all of them set on creating the perfect masterpiece for those out there who will be listening to their song in the near future.
