After that, well, drunken incident, between him and Seokjin, Taehyung doesn’t hear from him for what feels like forever. It’s saddening for Taehyung though, even if he understands why. He wants to pretend he didn’t remember the incident so that he could have an excuse to message Seokjin- but he controls that part of him, just because he feels like it’d be rude towards the other. Even though he is desperate, he still has manners. So he just waits for Seokjin to say something to him, just waits. It’s a pretty sucky wait for him, because practically any notification sound he gets, he’s super excited thinking that it must be Seokjin messaging him. He ends up just putting his phone into vibration mode, but it doesn’t stop him from checking his phone way way more than he should. After a bit, he stops getting so excited about a new notification- he’s sure that Seokjin is probably not going to message him; it feels like it’s been a century since the last time they talked.
So he just sits down in the seat of the dressing room, waiting for the makeup noona to come and fix his makeup for today. As he waits, he opens his phone and scrolls through pages on the internet. After a bit of just being bored and clicking random sites, he sees a blind item. He opens it, since the curiosity always gets him- even though, he does wonder if it’d be found as disrespectful to read these as they’d probably be about all of his sunbaes.. Taehyung just shoves that into the back of his mind as he scrolls through the article.
“[HOT] A blind item between a rookie idol and a very popular idol has been leaked” The title reads. Now he’s getting more curious too, so he scrolls down and reads more. But as he continues to read, he practically gets a heart attack right in the middle of the chair- but he still continues on, wondering why he’s making himself suffer like this.
“It is said that idol A, who’s the visual of an immensely popular group has a sasaeng that has debuted as an idol, otherwise known as idol B. Idol B is also the visual of their group, along with being their main vocalist. When idol B was a sasaeng, they did many usual things sasaengs would do, like going in front of the dorm (and sometimes even stealing from the dorm), following them in cars, and setting up camera’s in the dorm. Sasaeng C confirms hat they are sure that it was idol B that worked with sasaeng C as a fellow sasaeng before joining the trainee program.

After this blind item has been gaining traction, more and more people were asking for more hints about who idol A and B were, so we have given one more hint for each person here.
Idol A:
- They’ve went viral for looking good even while doing a simple thing

- Their group is one of the rookies of the big 3 (SM, YG, JYP.)”
Taehyung was trembling at this point. Was he going to be found out? No, no, please, please not now… Maybe this was just meant to be found out? He really hopes not though, because his career could just leave him like that if it would be found out. He feels bad. He’s always been sorry for what he had done since he had went into training, but maybe that wasn’t enough? He doesn’t know, but he scrolls down more to the comments anyways.

Taehyung lets out a sigh of slight relief. Nobody was guessing him, even though his group was the latest to debut with in the top 3, probably because of the prejudices and things like how they were totally all “straight”. He didn’t like those, but at least they saved him from suspicion. The comments were pretty similar as they went down, so he becomes a bit more calm. But still, how’d the person who posted this find out? Then he thinks back to the actual blind item, and realizes that they had mentioned a sasaeng. He must have been ratted out by one of the other sasaengs.. Oh god.
They could reveal even more, and he could be found out and then everyone would hate him and- “V-sshi, I’m sorry if we made you wait for long! The briefing took a bit longer than usual.” His makeup noona said after arriving and standing behind him. He tucked his phone straight into his pocket, not wanting to keep it in his sight for any longer, or he’d just freakout, and that’s not what he needs right now. What he does need to do is calm down- after all, he’s now going to start his schedules, he’s V now.
What doesn’t help him is the goddamn alert from his phone that’s making it shake in his pocket. V pulls the phone out of his pocket to check it anyways, and it’s a message. Wait, was he really reading this right? He can’t be, right? There’s no actual way that Seokjin would’ve messaged him, out of nowhere.. Taehyung’s practically dying of happiness- V has to cover that up though, otherwise the makeup noonas would probably freak out.
