Chapter Text
Midoriya paced back and forth in the abandoned warehouse. Today was the day. The day the League of Villains would bring themselves out to the light by storming UA High and the day where he could finally show the world what his greatest creation, Nomu, was capable of. His heart raced at the thought of his creation beating the shit out of the Number 1 Hero and finally pleasing his master. Unfortunately, he wasn't allowed to take credit for it as (according to Sensei's words) "wasn't his time to reveal himself just yet". It angered him thinking that Handy Manny (he totally forgot what that guy's name was) was going to get the front row seats to All Might's defeat while he had to study the scene from the sidelines and be "illegally dead". Midoriya even prepared his evil monologue when he confronted the primary-colored bastard as he laid on the ground broken and helpless, but of course, the world wouldn't make it that easy for him:
Oh, but only if I could! And then I would walk up Kacchan, punch him in the gut, and then tell him to fuck o-
The ragged moans of his latest captives broke his train of thought. He briskly walked over to the large confinement cage where 3 people laid gagged and bound,
"Can you please be a little quieter? I'm trying to think."
The captives only sobbed through their gags harder.
How annoying Midoriya thought as he rolled his eyes before making his way back to the front of the warehouse where a mirror was attached to the wall. He undid his blood red tie and tied it back up to find it still lopsided and messy. He looked back at the QTube video and tried following: Alright. The rabbit (the tail of the tie) goes around the trunk of the tree twice, goes underneath the bush, and through! Then the rabbit goes safely back into his hole.
He looked back at the mirror to see a somewhat okay-looking tie. Proud of his accomplishment, he whistled as he smoothed and straightened out the wrinkles in his white collared shirt then put on the black sweater vest that was hanging on a nearby chair. He cuffed the sleeves up to his elbow, adjusted his belt, and slipped on the black gloves and face mask. He stepped away to look at himself from the mirror.
Perfect! Except...
He looked down at the red sneakers on his feet. They had become dirty, worn-out, and faded after wearing them too many times, but he didn't want to take them off. They were the last gift his mom gave him.
But if I keep them on. Kacchan might recognize me!
He sighed as he slipped out of his sneakers and switched them for some fancy black shoes the Smoke-Head man had given him. He tucked his red shoes underneath his work desk for safekeeping before moving on to a much larger containment cage where a large mutated creature hid in the dark,
"Come," the massive creature crept forward to the front of the cage.
"Show me the top of your head," the Nomu bowed his head lower so Midoriya could inspect the metal chip lodged in his brain,
Looks like the command chip is working alright. If it works for me, it should work for Mr. Hand Man.
He grabbed the creature's face and brought it closer to his own.
"You excited? You finally get to see what's life like out of the cage! And if you do the job right, you can do whatever you want."
The creature made a soft creaking noise which Midoriya could only hope was a sound of agreement. His mind reeled back to when this creature was just a man and a woman. At the time, he was just experimenting and familiarizing himself with how mixing quirks works but he had never planned to make the final product just yet, so he just experimented with the people who were brought in by gangs. One day, they had brought in a retired pro boxer with a shock absorbance quirk who had racked up a debt with the nearby gangs in gambling, drugs, and alcohol. Later, they brought in his wife who possessed a self-regeneration quirk to join in with her husband's suffering. Midoriya remembered how ecstatic and surprised he was when he saw the two of them. The man used to be his and Kacchan's favorite boxer when they were little until he was thrown out of the boxing industry on accounts of using steroids. A few weeks later, it was also revealed that he had been cheating on his supermodel wife with his physical therapist (who was now currently his wife). He pitied the two adults in front of him who lost so much as both people had their lives ruined, but now Midoriya envied them as now they'll be the greatest winner of all as they destroy the Pillar of Hope. He sighed before hearing his train ringtone go off in his pocket. He picked up the phone, hearing Greasy Hand on the other side,
"Get the Nomu ready. It's time to go."
