I love old Echo's armor, and unique character motivations wanted to write a fic about him exploring them.
Echo is a soldier and has had a different viewpoint on war to the rest of the bad batch. He wants to be a soldier, and the others are keeping him from following that decision.
I will upload art as a separate chapter at a later date showing the amalgamation of Five's and Echo's armor. It just seemed like a nice touch to add to this fic.
