Chapter Text
Back inside his house Bo had fallen asleep.
Lanolin knocked the door very loudly. Bo woke up.
He yawned.
“Like, who’s there, man?”
The loud knocking continued impatiently.
“IT’S YOUR SISTER! I STOPPED ORSON FROM CALLING THE POLICE!”
“Oh! Coming, sis!”
“Thank God you finally listened, bozo!”
Bo walked over to the door and would’ve let his sister into his house, had she not reeked from having her own feces on her head, legs, and hooves-she had washed her hands, thank God.
“Ugh, sis, you stink. Like, literally. Plus, there’s a ‘no poop outside the toilet’ rule at my place, sis.”
“No problem. We can talk outside.”
The twin sheep went outside, with Bo carefully stepping over Lanolin’s steps of shit on his walkway, and sat on the ground against the side of Bo’s little house once he’d made sure there wasn’t any shit on his sister’s back.
“What did you do to prevent Orson from calling the police on me, sis?”
“Oh, I went over and beat the living shit out of him…he’ll be nice and quiet now for a few hours, I think.”
“Sis…” Bo shook his head, “Beating up people, like, isn’t nice, sis.”
“Hey, it saved your ass from being outed as either a stalker or a crossdresser.”
“I’m not a crossdresser, sis.”
“You’re about two steps from being one, I can just tell.”
“Am not.”
“Are too.” Bo slunk against the wall and sighed sadly.
“I, like, still prefer being thought of as a stalker, man. Even though, like, everyone’d be, like, scared of me, sis.”
“The good news is that that’s what everyone thinks you are. A stalker.” Bo visibly brightened up.
“That’s, like, excellent, sis!”
“No, it’s not, ‘like, excellent’,” explained Lanolin with a crude impression of her brother.
“I don’t wanna be known as a crossdresser, sis.”
“You’re not going to be known as a crossdresser, Bo. You’ll eventually be known as a genuinely kind, thoughtful, loving, hardworking, creative, completely unflappable ram with excellent taste and an infectious can-do attitude who just happens to like the prettier, more feminine things in life.”
“Can you not use the term ‘ram’ to describe me today, sis?”
“Why? It’s what you are. An adult ram.”
“Not today, sis. I feel like a…a, like, a ‘what’.”
“Oh…so you’re trans, aren’t you?”
“No…I don’t, like, know what I am, honestly. It sort of, like, changes from day to day. Or, like, over the span of, like, several days, a few weeks even.”
“Well, they don’t observe newborn lambs as ‘sort of, like, changes from day to day’, Bo, so you’re definitely trans. Genderfluid, to be exact.”
“ Dammit .”
“No, no ‘dammit’ to be had here, Bo. You’re still you, being trans isn’t some incurable disease or anything!”
Bo crossed his arms and looked at his sister.
“Really.”
“Yes, really.”
“You’re not, like, using this as some type of, like, ruse or, like, anything to, like, bully me later on, sis?”
“Maybe.”
“Dick.”
“You're welcome, brother.”
Bo looked down at the icy ground they were both sitting on.
“I’m, like, still not ready to be trans, sis.”
“The good news is that it’s not going anywhere.”
“Like, oh, boy.”
“The bad news is that-”
“Like, statistically, I’m in pretty huge fucking danger, sis.”
“You heard what I did to Orson, right? Anyway, the bad news is that you have to accept yourself in order to be the healthiest and happiest you can be.”
“.........like, okay, sis.”
“It’ll get easier with time, Bo. At least I’ve read that’s how it works.” She, after making sure her hand was still free of shit, rubbed her hand on Bo’s shoulder reassuringly.
At this moment the two sheep were interrupted by Wade and Roy harriedly making return calls on Orson’s cell phone as they walked up to them.
“No, we don’t have the manpower to clean up the barn office right now…you do understand that running the heat in the barn causes it to stink more, don’t you? Well, I don’t like it either, but I have other work to do!” Roy told another person over the pig’s phone.
“We’re very sorry about the mess in the barn office, we’ve been trying to find the perpetrators all afternoon…” Wade visibly cringed and looked like he was going to run out of the wheelchair he was wheeling himself around in at the unheard response. Lanolin and Bo looked at the two adult birds.
Bo was about to get up but Lanolin gestured to him to wait for a moment.
“What do you want, duck and bird?”
“We want to find out who literally peed and pooped all over Orson’s office. Nobody wants to clean it up!”
“Guess whose it is,” snarked Lanolin.
“Ha-ha, very funny, perpetrator !” responded Roy.
“Fair enough, bird. I will go clean up my mess…after your feathers are ruined by it.”
“Fuck you, cotton swab.”
“Fuck you too, feather duster.” Then Lanolin got up and looked at Bo.
“C’mon, Bo, we’re gonna go clean up my excrement in the barn office.” Bo sighed.
“Like, what a, like, nice thing to, like, do on my birthday.”
“You can pick where we go out for dinner after and I’ll pay, brother.”
“Like, fair enough, sis.”
And with that the twin sheep set off to clean up the barn office.
THE END
