Warden-Commander Amell might be just a little excited when First Enchanter Surana comes to visit Vigil's Keep.
Amell was hopelessly in love with Surana from nearly the moment they met, and would have been happy to follow her lead forever. She struggled to survive life as a Grey Warden without her guidance. Surana was more suited to be the main character. She's stronger, smarter, and hadn't been broken to the Circle as Amell was. There's so much about Surana that she has never told anyone, even as she and Amell continued their relationship.
