He has listened to Annatar thus far. And now that Celebrimbor has declared himself Lord of Eregion, it seems to be in his best interest to let Annatar continue to lead him and his realm to even greater heights and more ambitious accomplishments.
The first order of business will be to establish a new society of loremasters, to mirror the golden age of Noldorin society in Tirion. The second order of business will be to figure out how in the world to go about correctly implementing the first order of business.
(Now if only Celebrimbor could figure out if Annatar is just a very good friend and companion, or... something else.)
