Fifteen years after the Korean War ended, Hawkeye is working in the ER in New York. His life is stagnant, he's stuck in a routine that he doesn't hate, but he's not exactly thriving either. Seeing Father Mulcahy again yanks him out of that.

Summary
A struggling Francis Mulcahy is admitted to a mental institution after returning home. With broken limbs and broken spirit, he simply tries to muddle through. His entire life changes when he runs into a new roommate and his old friend: Hawkeye Pierce. Though Francis is content to let the rest of his existence pass him by, Hawkeye has other ideas - and if he can ignore his own problems. Shouldn't be an issue.
