Five minutes ago, they’d been having a serious conversation – up until she evidently decided he’d been spoiling her afterglow with heavy subjects for too long. Then she’d snuggled closer against him and quite effectively redirected his thoughts from dwelling on all the things he couldn’t give her with her unexpected declaration that there were also advantages to having a vampire boyfriend, “like not having to worry about safe sex”.
“Go on...,” Angel prompts, intrigued as to what thoughts might be lurking behind that coy smile.
