Summary
The one thing that Castiel Novak can’t do is hear.
He excels in his job as an EMT despite the fact that he’s deaf and has never let anything hold him back from being at the top of his game.
That is, until he meets a certain man in the aftermath of a car accident. The one thing Dean Winchester can’t do is touch.
Communication should be simple with the easy way that people can read each other’s thoughts through skin contact, but Dean outright refuses anything of the sort and much prefers the gentle caress of fingers on guitar strings.
That is, until his dreams of being a professional guitarist are shattered in the accident.Even with the unfortunate circumstances of their meeting, a friendship grows and there is one thing they realize they can do for each other very well:
Listen.

Summary
The year is 1889 and for the past year and a half, Dean has traveled alone from town to town, drinking to ignore his guilt and gambling to make a living. Today, he’s especially down on his luck. He’s broke, was just thrown out of a saloon for cheating at poker, and has now been woken by a blue-eyed man trying to rob him. When he learns that the thief, Castiel, is just as broke as he is, they strike a tenuous deal to help each other rob a stagecoach, share the spoils, and split up. Turns out splitting up is the most difficult task.
While Castiel is cold and cruel, Dean refuses to back down from a fight. The two are at odds more often than not, but their relationship only grows more complicated the longer they travel together. They may have more in common than they thought.

Summary
It’s 1957, and an Upper West Side neighborhood in New York City is split down the middle between two rival street gangs: the Angels and the Hunters. Dean Winchester left the Hunters four months ago to work at Singer’s Auto, hoping to earn his little brother a chance at a future he never had, but he remains best friends with the gang’s leader, Benny. Castiel Nova is a member of a large, first-generation Italian American family and the younger brother of the Angels’ two leaders, Michael and Luca. Castiel, however, doesn’t want to be sucked into the city’s violence, despite his family’s pressure to join ranks with the Angels.
When Castiel and Dean meet by chance at a neighborhood dance, they are inadvertently but undeniably attracted to each other. Their budding romance, however, not only risks being torn apart by the tension between the two gangs, but also by the ethnic and sexual prejudices of the day.

Summary
In the darkest depths of the ocean, sealed into the ma'lak box with Chuck trapped behind the Mark, Castiel loses the battle against God's rage. When Sam and Dean find Castiel on a dark patch of highway— the Mark missing and his grace weak— he cannot speak.
It rains. It rains and it rains and it rains. It is a Great Flood.
In order to stop God, save the world, and resolve the issues simmering between them for years, Castiel and Dean need to communicate.
Perhaps they should build an ark instead.
