Cat’s heading out for lunch when a literal spaceship appears over the streets of Cardiff and snatches her up. Next thing she knows, she’s on a crashing, unsettlingly visceral vessel that’s traversing the literal Hell, from the Bible, and an angry green lady is telling her she has to fight. Things somehow get worse from there.
Crash-landing in an alternate universe with nothing but a parasite in her head and a handful of similarly afflicted weirdoes, Cat realises the only way she’s going to get home is if she gets her brain-worms treated (before she explodes into a squid). Unfortunately, finding someone capable of treating said brain-worm turns out to be slightly more difficult than she was hoping. Still. She can suddenly work magic, and there’s hot guys lingering at her camp. So it’s not all bad, is it?

Tav was living a quiet life in her home... well, as quiet as her kind can manage, when, without warning, she was transported to another plane, directly beneath the illithid ship, by the one she had so carefully avoided. Now her visions of what was to come were going wild, and she had a minor inconvenience in the form of a worm in her brain. She must find a way to return home, but trust has never come easily to her, and the people who join her don't make it easy.
This story plays with the concepts of "visions of what was to come" aka a future that can still be changed, facing the past, and building relationships, with the addition of original scenes from the game (because they're great) and a lot of camp content.

This was not how my life was supposed to end. I was meant to serve in the Parliament, honour Baldur's Gate, strengthen the conditions of the poor and earn the respect of the nobility. Instead I was betrayed by none other than my own mentor and patron, Ulder Ravengaard.
He backstabbed me, and in doing so, killed my daughter.
He will answer for what he did. But first I need to get rid of the tadpole behind my eye, and the only way to do that is to fall in with these six strangers and hope for the best.

What she did not account for, in all her careful planning and carefully banked fury, was Gale. She had a mission, a target, and a very reasonable amount of rage to sustain her. She did not factor in a wizard of Waterdeep who talks too much, knows too much, and somehow manages to find a place in her heart where she thought she had hidden most carefully.
That was not part of the plan.
