Bio
I used to write fanfiction a lot as a young kid and a teenager and then left it behind when I was 14-15 years old - though I've always been an avid reader. I've written a lot of original fiction in the last decade or so, but I find fanfic a more intimidating prospect, honestly.
I had an idea that started to grow on me, recently, it wouldn't leave me alone and so I sat down and wrote fanfiction after more than a decade. I'm not sure if this will be my only foray into writing fanfic for yet another decade or not, but I do plan to only post fanfics if I complete them because it drives me mental when I start reading a story and it isn't complete (or at the least, on a regular posting schedule).
Usually a canon purist, but I don't mind alternate reality type of stories if they're engaging and well-written.
If a series has canon relationships, those are what I generally support. I can be open-minded about pairing up side characters or characters who don't have canonical relationships, however.
My first story is now complete and posted, it's an exploration into love and loss and moving on after losing a person that you love, featuring two minor characters from the Harry Potter series (Colin Creevey and Demelza Robins). I've had a head-canon for a long time that those two dated for a while, I really don't know why (possibly shaped by other fanfiction that I'd read) and they seemed like the perfect couple for me to explore this concept through. I hope you'll give it a read, and enjoy.
My second story is also now up and also complete - it spawned from the first, and they can be said to be in the same universe though they aren't really related. This one follows Dennis Creevey and his journey to become an Auror, and though the first 6-7 chapters focus heavily on Dennis (with some action in the background) it then pivots to a full-fledged whodunnit case!fic with plenty of murder, investigation and some minor gore. I hope you enjoy!
