I've been an X-Files fan since very early on. I watched the premier in 1993 with my parents. I was 9. Yes, I am old. We watched together just about every Friday night. I can't remember for sure when it was that I was officially hooked, but I think it was Quagmire, or right around it, and it has been a major part of my life ever since. I have been collecting memorabilia for over 20 years. I used to record episodes onto VHS tapes (always cutting out commercials, of course) and now I have it streaming on demand on my phone. It's been an amazing progression to witness. Mulder and Scully feel like family to me. I miss them. If my writing brings even a tiny fraction of the joy to you that those two have brought me for almost 30 years, I have succeeded.
