It was quite a nice day today at the busy city of New Yoma city. There are cars driving freely in the city streets with some of them turning around the intersection while others stopped due to the traffic lights.
The sideways were packed with many different Yokai. There are few who walk by, passing each other while some were just hanging out and talking to one another.
At a certain part of the city, smoke is seen coming out from inside a bank as a Badude and two Roughraffs exited from it. They were all carrying huge sacks over their shoulders.
Badude: “Hehehe… that was just too easy.”
Roughraff #1: “You can say that again, boss! The Yokai that were there didn’t even try to fight back!”
Roughraff #2: “Yeah, they were all too scared to do so!”
Badude: “Of course they were! We’re the notorious Badude gang, nobody’s gonna be able to stop us!”
???: “Oh yeah?! Think again, you fiends!”
All three of them in unison: *surprised* “W-What?!”
A Yokai appeared in front of the three Yokai while flapping her wings, flying above the road below her by a little bit. The Yokai has the appearance of a young woman with light purple skin, warm grey hair that's slicked back, pointed ears and magenta eyes with lilac pupils and a light blue sclera. She is wearing a bright red full-body jumpsuit with yellow motifs surrounding the zipper of her darker shade of red bustier and golden buckles on each side of the upper arms with the letter 'T' engraved on it, she is also wearing medium length gloves that has the same shade of red as her bustier and black boots, A pair of huge black bat wings on her back, a red tail with a pink wisp on the end and two large horns that is covered by her red suit along with some black stripes covering it.
???: "Nobody's going anywhere while I'm around! Or my name isn't Saki-chan!"
Roughraff #1: *panicking* "Crap! It's a Yokai hero! What do we do now, boss?!"
The Badude glares through his sunglasses to his panicking Roughraff underling.
Badude: "Ain't it obvious, you numbskull?! We fight of course! Attack!" *points at Saki-chan with his nail bat*
The Roughraffs run towards Saki-chan as they try to punch her but as they attack her, she dodges just in time by back flipping and landing onto the sidewalk that's behind her.
Saki-chan: "Nice try! But now it's my turn!"
Saki creates a fireball from her hand.
Saki-chan: "Take this!" *shoots the fireball at the two Roughraffs*
Roughraffs: "Gya!"
The fireball hit the Roughraffs, knocking them both out and are now laying on their fronts on the ground with swirly eyes.
Badude: *angry* "Oh my GOD! You guys are useless!"
Saki-chan: *holds her tail; looks at it* "I guess next time, you should probably try to afford better henchmen...” *twirls her tail as she looks up*
Saki-chan: “…You know, so they don’t suck as much.” *giggles*
Badude: "BAH! I don't need them! I can take you on by myself, girly!"
The Badude throws the sack he was holding aside as he prepares his nail bat.
Saki-chan: "Alright.” *lets go of her tail* “You asked for this."
The Badude charges over to Saki and swings the nail bat at her but, she manages to dodge each and every one of Badude’s swings due to her quick reflexes.
Saki-chan: “Is that the best you got? I’ve seen Damajors do better swings than you can!”
The Badude becomes very angry after hearing those words from Saki’s mouth.
Badude: “SHUT UP, YOU SUCCUBUS!”
The Badude slams his bat to Saki in anger but she flies away just in time to dodge it as Badude’s bat hits the road instead, leaving it stuck there.
Badude: “Damn it!” *struggles to get his stuck bat out of the road*
Saki-chan: “Alright, let’s get this over with!”
Saki creates fireballs from both of her hands and combines them together, creating a huge fireball.
Saki-chan: “Hope you’re ready for this, villain!” *holds the fireball up to the sky*
Badude: “Oh shit...”
Saki-chan: “Take this!”
Saki throws the giant fireball at the Badude as he screams. The fireball hit him leaving him with burn injuries and falls down to the ground defeated.
Badude: “Ugh...”
Saki-chan: *dusts off her hands* “Well, that takes care of that.”
Saki flies over to the sacks of money that were dropped, picks them up and goes inside the bank, where all the terrified Yokai civilians and bankers are at.
Saki-chan: “Here’s your money back, everybody.” *drops the sacks of money on the ground* “And don’t worry, the baddies are all taken care of.”
The terrified Yokai in the bank are now relieved after they heard Saki’s words.
Male Yokai banker: *gratuitously happy* “Thank you so much for helping us stop those Yokai criminals, miss Saki-chan!” *bows* “How could we ever repay you for this?”
Saki-chan: “Hey, I’m just glad to help, sir. It IS a Yokai Hero’s duty, after all.” *smiles* “Now, all you have to do now is just sit back and wait ‘till the cops to get here and Lord Enma will decide what to do with ‘em.”
Female Yokai civilian: “But, what if those thieves ran away?”
Saki-chan: “They won’t, trust me. I made sure that my flames were hot enough to knock them out for as long as the cops could arrive, so no worries.”
Female Yokai civilian: “Oh, alright.”
Saki-chan: “Well, I better get going now. Bye, everyone, and stay safe!”
Saki flaps her wings as she quickly flies away from the bank.
Later...
Saki-chan flies down and lands by the entrance of a huge red building with a symbol of flaming black devil wings placed on top of it. The automatic sliding doors eventually opened and Saki enters the building.
As Saki went inside the building, she arrives at the main hall. At the left side of the room was the living room. It has red carpeting that covers the floor where the flat screen TV and the black circular sofa are at, there’s also a grey circular coffee table and a CD player and a game console that’s placed on the TV shelf.
On the right side of the room, it was the kitchen as well as the dining room. The refrigerator is between a counter and the stove and oven, above the counters are some cabinets that stores the plates and glasses, in the middle of the kitchen is a black marble counter that serves as a table with four chairs. The lighting fixture is above the table and beneath the lighting fixture is a vase with flowers.
The dining area was right beside the kitchen. There’s a wooden dining table with five chairs and a large screen that is placed on the wall at the end of the table.
Saki-chan: “Hey, everybody! I’m back!”
???: “Ah, Saki, welcome back.”
A Yokai that was sitting on one of the dining room chairs greeted Saki back as he holds onto a mug of coffee. The Yokai has a humanoid appearance wearing a white skull mask with glowing red eyes and long messy grey hair. He wears a white lab coat, a black shirt underneath it and a dark grey belt with an oval silver buckle. He also has skeletal hands and a black ghostly lower half with a wispy tail.
Saki-chan: *walks over to the dining table* “Hey Zero, didn’t expect you to be here all by yourself.”
Zero-hakase: “I’m just taking a little break, I still need to continue with my groundwork after this.” *sips on his coffee*
Saki-chan: “I see…” *pulls out a chair and sits down* “Okay then.”
Zero-hakase: “So, how was today’s patrol?”
Saki-chan: “It was great! Got to beat up some thieves this time!”
Zero-hakase: “Let me guess: you burned them?”
Saki-chan: “Totally.” *smirks*
Zero-hakase: “As expected. Did you get any photos?”
Saki-chan: “Nah, sorry. Not today, Zero.”
Zero-hakase: *a bit disappointed* “Shame.”
Saki-chan: “Say, where are the others?” *looks around the room*
Zero-hakase: “Oh, they went over to the Tempura restaurant.”
Saki-chan: “Really? Why didn’t you come along with them?”
Zero-hakase: “I told you: I have to finish my research.” *drinks his coffee*
Saki-chan: “Aw, come on Zero! Don’t be such a downer, let’s go there!” *stands up from her chair*
Zero-hakase: “No. I’ve specifically told you the reason on why I can’t, twice.” *sets down his mug and stands up* “Now, if you’ll excuse me…”
Zero was about to leave Saki but as soon as he does, she grabs him by the collar of his coat.
Saki-chan: “Oh no you don’t!” *puts Zero over her shoulder*
Zero-hakase: *surprised* “Wh-What the?!”
Saki-chan: “Sorry, Zero! But, we’re going to the restaurant, one way or another!” *walks over to the entrance*
Zero-hakase: *angry* “Saki! let go of me this instant! I’ve told you that I don’t have the time!”
Saki-chan: “Your experiments can wait! Now, it’s Tempura time!
The automatic sliding doors opened as Saki exits through it. She then readies her wings.
Saki-chan: “Let’s fly!”
Saki flaps her wings as she immediately flies up and goes forward, heading over to the Tempura restaurant.
***
Some time later, at Harapeko…
Saki landed down near the entrance of the Tempura restaurant with Zero still being held over her shoulder.
Saki-chan: “Finally here!”
Zero-hakase: “Good. Now put me down!”
Saki-chan: “Alright, alright. Geez...” *puts Zero down*
Zero-hakase: *dusts off his coat; faces Saki* “Never do that again. Hmph!” *turns away to the restaurant’s entrance*
Saki-chan: “Okay… Whatever you say, princess.” *walks over to the restaurant’s entrance and enters it*
As soon as they entered the restaurant, the Wotchagot cashier welcomed them.
Wotchagot: “Ah, Saki-chan, Zero-hakase, welcome back.”
Saki-chan: “Hey, Wotchagot! Thanks for the welcome!”
Wotchagot: “No problem.” *smiles* “So, what brings you here? Is it Tempura time already?”
Saki-chan: “Yeah but, we’re mostly looking for our teammates. Have you seen them by any chance?”
Wotchagot: “Oh yeah. They’re eating right now, just go to the dining area and you’ll see them.”
Saki-chan: “Alright then. Thanks again, Wotchagot!”
Wotchagot: “You’re welcome, Saki-chan!”
Saki-chan and Zero-hakase heads over to the dining area.
Saki-chan: *to Zero-hakase* “He’s so nice.”
Zero-hakase: “Of course…”
As they arrive at the dining area, they saw a lot of Yokai, eating there. Guess it was quite a busy day for Pride Shrimp.
Saki-chan: *surprised* “Wow, pretty crowded today.”
Zero-hakase: *looks around* There they are.”
Zero points out to the left side of the dining area at three Yokai who are eating.
The first Yokai has the appearance of a toddler with pale blue skin and a seafoam green spirit flame-like hair with double ends. He wears shades with grey frames and pointed ends, a slate purple cape with a formed large collar tied around his neck, gray pants with a black belt and a golden buckle that says "BAD", and black ankle boots with four spikes in each.
The second Yokai is a humanoid who’s a bit taller than the first. He has warm gray skin and blue hair flowing upwards. He wears a white framed visor with a yellow lens which is connected to his headphones that has an eye with a light pink sclera, turquoise iris and black pupil on each side, a blue tracksuit with yellow linings on the sides, white gloves, and white boots with yellow flames on his ankles.
The third Yokai is tallest out of all of them. He’s a humanoid Shark with grey eyes, grey skin and a cream chest. He wears a Lagoon blue mask with yellow and magenta motifs, magenta fingerless gloves and boots, and underwear that has the same color as his mask with a yellow belt and teal tights.
Saki-chan: *looks out to where Zero’s pointing* “Oh yeah!” *raises her hand to the air and waves it* “Shark, Speedy, Baddie!”
Saki called out to her other 3 team members and they all noticed her, mostly Speedy.
Speedy W: “Oh, hey boss! Over here! Over here!”
Saki runs over to them as Zero follows his boss from behind.
Saki-chan: “Hey guys! How’s the Tempura today?”
Bad Boya: “It’s pretty good.”
Saki-chan: “Really?”
Saki swiped the plate a Tempura from Shark and eats them, one by one.
The Shark: *in an angry tone* “Hey!”
Saki-chan: *eyes sparkle; very happy* “Oh my god… This is so good!” *continues eating*
The Shark: *to Zero; sounding a bit annoyed* “So I’m guessing patrol went well for her, huh?”
Zero-hakase: *nods* “Mmhm.”
The Shark: “Figures.” *rests his face on his palm*
Speedy W: “Here, Shark. You can have mine.” *pushes his plate of Tempura to Shark, lending it to him*
The Shark: “It’s alright, Speedy. You can keep it, I’m already full anyways.”
Suddenly, sounds of explosions are heard. Every Yokai in the restaurant were surprised to hear it.
Wazzat: “What the heck was that?!”
Buhu: “W-Was that an explosion?!”
Soon afterwards, every customer there started panicking.
Saki-chan: “Everybody, stay calm! We got this under control!”
Zero-hakase: *to Saki-chan* “It’s coming from outside!”
Saki-chan: “Alright, team! Let’s head out!”
All of the members of the Yokai hero team rushed out of the restaurant immediately. As they exited, they saw bombs flying down from the sky, blowing up everything in sight with civilian Yokai screaming and running away in terror
Saki-chan: “Everyone! Grab the bombs as much as you can! Make sure that there are no casualties, alright?!”
The rest of the team: “Right!”
The entire team quickly scattered to different parts of the city. Saki and Zero went up the skies as they blast each of the falling bombs with their fire attacks while Speedy and Bad Boya grabbed the bombs before they can even hit the ground and throws them all at Shark as he destroys the bombs with his water attack.
Afterwards, Saki and Zero flew back to the rest of team.
Saki-chan: “Was that all of them?!”
The Shark: “I think so, yeah.”
Speedy W: “Where did those bombs even come from?”
Bad Boya looks up and saw three bombs heading towards Saki and Zero.
Bad Boya: “Look out!”
Saki and Zero looked back to see the bombs flying to them. Zero swiftly raises his hand to the direction of the bombs and destroys them with his purple flames.
???: “Aww… you guys are killing all of my fun.”
The team was surprised to hear that voice and looks up. When they looked up, they saw a Yokai floating in the sky with disappointed look in her face while holding a bomb launcher with the design of a pink rose around her arm.
The Yokai is a humanoid that has the appearance of a young girl. She has long white hair that is tied into braided pigtails with the ends looking like wisps, bright-peach skin, pointed ears and Emerald eyes. She wears a red hair band on her head, big knee length, short puff sleeved Sakura pink princess dress with Bubblegum frills at the ends of the sleeves, collar and skirt, a bow with the same color as the frills that is decorated with a Sakura pendant placed on the chest, a sash tied into a bow on the waist having a Bubblegum pink color as well, light pink and white striped stockings and red shoes.
???: “Like, seriously, can’t you heroes let a girl have some fun.”
Zero-hakase: “Sakura Bomber, I should’ve known.”
Sakura Bomber: “Oh, hey doc. Glad you recognized me. I was expecting you’d forget or something.”
Saki-chan: “So you’re the culprit of this mass bombing?!”
Sakura Bomber: “That’s right. Took you long enough to figure it out, boss lady.”
Speedy W: “Why are you doing this?!”
Sakura Bomber: “Ain’t that obvious? To cause some explosive mayhem, duh!”
Saki-chan: “Well, that’s not going to happen, you fiend!” *points at Sakura Bomber* “Cuz’ you know why?!”
Saki does a fist on chest salute.
Saki-chan: “We’re Tempest Pride! And with our fiery spirit, we never give up on defeating to the likes of evil doers such as you!”
Sakura Bomber snorted.
Sakura Bomber: *prepares her rocket launcher* “Well, hopefully that ‘fiery spirit’ will remain once I blast your bodies off, YOKAI HEROES!”
Sakura Bomber fires her rocket launcher and a light pink colored rocket starts flying at Tempest Pride.
Saki-chan: “Team! Let’s go!”
The team quickly split up before the rocket hit them and instead hit the road that they were standing on, leaving quite a big crater.
Sakura Bomber then continues to fire her rocket launcher to each of Tempest Pride members but, the team effortlessly dodge all of them like it was nothing.
Sakura Bomber: “Stop moving, gosh dang it! These rockets aren’t cheap to make, ya know?!”
The Shark manages to catch one of the rockets that flew near him.
The Shark: “Take…” *throws the rocket at Sakura Bomber* “THIS!”
The Shark threw the rocket back to Sakura Bomber but she floats away to the side, avoiding it as it explodes at the sky.
Sakura Bomber: “Hey! Watch where you’re throwing that, you yankee! At least throw it to somewhere that causes damage!”
The Shark: “Yeah right! Like HECK I’ll ever do that, missy!”
Sakura Bomber: “Alright then, if that’s how you wanna play it…”
Sakura Bomber summons a pink rose shaped bomb from her free hand.
Sakura Bomber: “Take this on for size, you overgrown Shark head!”
Sakura Bomber throws the bomb over to The Shark. He shields himself with his arms but Zero-hakase quickly gets in front of Shark and destroys the bomb with his purple flame, making it explode.
The Shark: “Thanks, doc!”
Zero-hakase: *turns his around over his shoulder* “Don't mention it.”
Meanwhile, Saki-chan quickly flies up to the sky, giving some distance to confront the villain her team is dealing with.
Saki-chan: *points at Sakura Bomber* “You best stop now, Sakura Bomber! Before things get real bad for ya!” *smirks*
Sakura Bomber: “Yeah? Whatcha gonna do about it, boss lady? Burn me with those weak flames of yours?”
Saki-chan: “Heh. You’ve seen nothing yet!”
Saki immediately flies over to Sakura Bomber as she was firing her rocket launcher at Saki, who manages to avoid every single rocket that flew to her.
Sakura Bomber: *a bit pissed* “Keep still, will ya?!”
Soon, Saki finally arrives in front of Sakura Bomber and kicks her across the face, causing her to drop her rocket launcher.
Sakura Bomber: *got pushed back* “Argh!”
Saki-chan: “Alright! Time to finish you off!”
Saki begins to charge up her soultimate.
Sakura Bomber: *slightly recovers from the kick* “Wh-What?”
Saki-chan: “Cheerfully Charring Fire!”
Flames appeared from below Sakura Bomber’s feet as it burns her thoroughly.
Sakura Bomber: “AAA!!!”
After a short time, the flames disappeared as Sakura Bomber is now burned, covered in ash and defeated. She then falls down to the ground as The Shark catches her from below.
The Shark: “Gotcha.”
Later, Saki flies down near The Shark and floats beside him.
Saki-chan: “Well that takes care of her.”
Soon, Zero, Speedy and Bad Boya caught up with Speedy holding Sakura Bomber’s fallen rocket launcher in his arms.
Zero-hakase: “Looks like she’s going to take a LONG time to recover there...”
Saki-chan: “And she can do that peacefully behind prison bars.” *punches her fist in her palm*
“Awesome job today, team!”
Speedy W: “I’m surprised that she’s able to hold a weapon as big as this.” *the rocket launcher slips a little but Speedy pulls it up again* “It’s… quite heavy.”
Zero takes the rocket launcher from Speedy’s hold and rests it against his shoulder, handling it.
Bad Boya: “So, what now?”
Suddenly…
*GROOWWLL*
It made the guys a bit confused
The Shark: “Um… What was that?”
Saki-chan: *a little embarrassed* “Hehehe… sorry guys. I haven’t ate much since this morning.”
The rest of the team sweatdrops.
Zero-hakase: *sighs* “Alright. Let’s go grab some Tempura and then, we’ll hand over Sakura Bomber to the police later on. How about that?”
Saki-chan: “Sounds like a plan! Let’s go, team!”
And so, the Yokai hero team, Tempest Pride, left to the Tempura restaurant. I wonder what adventures will await for them in the future…
