"Izumi please pay attention to the lesson" the teacher asked. Midoriya's head popped up.
"S-sorry Mr.koboyashi" I said embarrassed. Some of the kids snickered at this while a certain blonde headed boy merely scoffs at me. I was once his friend when we were little but I never got my quirk while he got a very strong quirk.
I had always look up to him. He had always been top of the class in most subjects and radiates a natural aura of confidence and superiority. Not to say I was perticularly bad in any of the subjects, on the contrary I'm usually among the top 5 in all of them. But my confidence and strength left much to be desired.
So I have him in my notebook of heroes and villains that has listed their quirks as well as strengths and weaknesses.
One thing she notices about Kacchan in weaknesses is that due to the fact he has to sweat in order to produce explosions is that if he got cold he wouldn't be able to make strong explosions. There's plenty more in his page but that's one of his most prominent weaknesses. In my opinion at least.
A few minutes later the bell rings signaling the end of class. As I start to pack up I reach for my notebook when a hand grabs my shoulder. I look to see Kacchan looking at me with his hand on my shoulder.
I make a move to grab my notebook and he gives off a small explosion on my shoulder. It hurts but surprisingly doesn't burn like it usually does, but I still flinch. He then grabs my notebook off my desk. I look up to see Kacchan with an evil grin on his face.
“Kacchan give it back” I say as I try to reach for it.
“What? Is it her diary or something?” said one of kacchan’s ‘friends’ with a disgusting smile. Then Kacchan looks at the cover and his eyes look full of rage.
“Seriously Deku ‘Hero analysis for the future Vol.9’ why are you still playing at these false fantasies of being a quirkless ‘Hero’” Kacchan yells.
By now izumi is practically shaking from terror because she doesn't know what Kacchan might do.
“Look at you, you couldn't be a hero! You’re practically shaking in your boots just from me yelling at you! What are you gonna do if there is a villain attack huh? You’re pathetic and I'll help you see that” Kacchan yells and then explodes the book in his hands and throws it out the window. Izumi quickly ran towards the window and saw as her notebook splashed into the pond.
Tears start to stream down my face. Kacchan sees this and his sadistic grin comes back.
“Oops I dropped it my bad! But hey maybe if you take a swan dive off the roof and pray, you might get a quirk in your next life!” as soon as Kacchan said it he wanted to take it back. Even his lackeys were giving him bewildered looks. Kacchan didn't want to say something so cruel but his pride is too much for him to apologize.
“Um… whatever let’s just go guys” he says while walking out with his ‘friends’ close behind.
I still couldn't move from the shock of hearing those words. ‘I thought kacchan wanted to be a hero’ I couldn't help but think. ‘Heroes don’t tell people things like that’ I thought angrily.
(She didn't even see the soft glow coming from her clenched fists)
