It was a dark and... well, not really stormy night. Musutafu wasn't the kind of place to have storms that often, let alone rain.
What there was, however, was a night sky filled with stars, whose glamorous sight caught the attention of one simple greenette, Kama Midoriya, sitting on top of a lamppost as she located at the sky with a pleased smile.
"Reaper! We must continue our training!"
The greenette looked down, and saw a raven-headed boy looking at her, his red-eyed stare catching her attention as she jumped off the lamppost, and landed safely on the ground.
"Alright, Void, we'll have one last spar, and then we'll call it a night, alright?"
"That's fine by me," the raven boy said as he folded his arms. "This is but a preparation for the battle we're expected to face soon."
"You mean the entrance exam?" the greenette giggled.
The guy nodded, then spread his arms as he exclaimed:
"Dark Shadow!"
A dark, shadowy avian creature emerged from the boy's stomach, letting out a loud screech as he unveiled his golden, glowing eyes.
The girl, in response, smiled with confidence as she crouched down, and touched her kneesocks. They glowed green and transformed into energy, expanding and morphing into the shape of a weapon before fully turning into a green scythe.
Midoriya grabbed the scythe, and spun it twice before placing it over her shoulder, staring at the raven boy as they waited for the other to start...
"Dark Shadow, attack!"
"Aye aye!"
The avian shadow lunged at Midoriya, who aimed the scythe forward and spun it, transforming it into a glowing shield that stunned the creature for a moment.
During this moment, Midoriya jumped to the sky and prepared to slice at the avian guy, who quickly reacted by rolling away, and having Dark Shadow claw at the girl before she could strike back.
At the second claw swing, however, Midoriya swung her scythe and, while barely grazing the creature, left a residual glow that left it stunned in place.
The raven boy was stunned as well, standing still as Midoriya dashed to him and prepared to swing her scythe. Once close enough, she swung it...
And stopped before she sliced his face.
"I win."
The boy sighed. "That seems to be the case."
Dark Shadow retracted into the raven boy, Midoriya cleaning the glowing smear she left on him as she said:
"Seriously, Tokoyami-kun, you can't just stand still if Dark Shadow is taken out."
"I know, but it's difficult to deal with someone as agile as you, Midoriya-san, especially when attacking Dark Shadow affects me too," Tokiyami clenched his fist. "If only I could disconnect from Dark Shadow for a second..."
"Well, good luck with figuring that out," Midoriya said as she walked back home. "I'll go home before Mom freaks out again-"
"Midoriya-san..."
The greenette turned to Tokoyami, who bowed respectfully.
"Thanks for helping me train once again."
Midoriya flashed a smile with a canine tooth sticking out, and as her scythe turned back into her kneesocks, she stated:
"Anytime, Tokoyami-kun."
Kama Midoriya! Quirk: Kneescythe! She can transform her, and anybody else's kneesocks, into a scythe!
