Work Text:
Asmodeus Alice is a demon with a prestigious pedigree, exemplary grades and incredible power. He prides himself on being Iruma-sama's shield. He's the eldest son of the Asmodeus family. He also almost sets himself on fire.
Alice likes to debate that this was not his fault. Asmodeus Alice is a demon who prides himself on his stellar control. But he can't be blamed for the steam coming out of his ears. Not when his beloved Iruma-Sama is standing in his bathroom, mussed hair, a toothbrush in his mouth, and wearing Alice's clothes! Alice especially cannot be be blamed when Iruma-sama pulls it off so well.
It was one of His simple white button downs. And a part of Alice's brain is wondering if that's even slightly comfortable for his precious friend. But the rest of his brain is very firmly focused on how fucking adorable his friend looks.
The shirt is oversized on his precious Iruma-Sama. Making the blue haired boy look like he's drowning in the fabric. The sleeves come way too far down on his friend's wrists, leaving the fabric bunched and covering Iruma-sama's hands. The collar is unbuttoned and way too loose, a side slipping off to the side to reveal Iruma sama's shoulder. And that isn't even mentioning how the bottom of the garment makes its' way halfway down Iruma-sama's thighs. Alice can't even tell if his friend is wearing shorts underneath.
In short, Iruma-sama looks too cute for comfort, and Alice is very quickly at risk for melting his toothbrush in his flaming hands.
"G'mornin' Azz-kun" Iruma yawns mid-sentence and Alice swallows a very undignified yelp. Worried he'd been caught staring. "Did you sleep well?" Iruma smiles at him then. Cute and sleepy and wearing Alice's shirt.
Alice almost faints right then and there.
It doesn't stop there. And Alice doesn't know if he loves it or hates it. He does know that it's slowly driving him insane.
He goes to pick up Iruma-sama from his house to find his best friend running late and wearing a pair of Alice's pants. (They don't even fit! And Azz definitley doesn't melt the Chair-demon's doorknob) He finds one of his jackets in Iruma-sama's closet. One of the long pink ones that's just a smidge too small for him now and Alice can't speak straight for twenty minutes. (Alice has to wonder if his mother is supplying Iruma-sama with these clothes like some sort of clothes dealer!) Iruma-sama walks to school cozied up in one of Alice's scarves and Alice finds himself unable to catch his breath. It's gotten to the point where Alice is certain that Iruma-sama posseses more of his wardrobe than he does! (Although Alice can't help but think that it all looks far better on Iruma-sama anyways.)
And. That. Shirt. The first one. The one that made Alice melt his toothbrush and led to his mother teasing him about it for nearly a month. He. Just. Keeps. Wearing. It. Everywhere. He wore it when Alice and Clara went with him to the mall. He wore it around his house when Alice and Clara came to hang out. He even wears it to class sometimes. The over-sized sleeves peeking out from under his blazer. The hints of pink trim at the edges informing Alice that yes, that is his shirt. (that Iruma-sama is still wearing, for some unknown reason.)
Alice feels like he's losing his mind. Eventually, after a thirty minute pep-talk to himself and one particularly bad explosion having distracted Clara enough for Alice to convince himself that he has the illusion of privacy, he finally asks about it.
"Why do I wear your clothes?" Iruma-sama asks, almost as if he wasn't sure he had heard the question. Alice nods. "W-well-" Iruma-sama begins, and Alice thinks he really is losing it because it looks like Iruma-sama is blushing. "It-it makes me feel safe, protected" and Alice feels like his heart is going to explode. His clothes can make Iruma-sama feel safe!? He isn't really sure how that works but he feels exceptionally blessed for this incredible honor. "A-and, well" Iruma buries his face in the over-sized sleeves of the shirt that started it all. His next words are barely audible "It smells like you"
Alice accidentally sets himself on fire. But can you really blame him?
