"I can buy you guys some time if you need it." Supergirl crossed her arms as she looked at J'onn. "We have to do this. I don't care if I have to sacrifice myself or not."
"We're not letting that happen." Alex shakes her head, her lips in a flat line. "No chance."
"If it comes down to that, I will." Kara clenches her jaw as she stares at her sister for a moment before reading the room, stopping at Lena's look.
Lena was genuinely concerned, but also somewhat... yearning? As if she wanted to say something, knowing that Kara sacrificing herself wasn't the way to go, but Alex already said it.
Kara relaxes her jaw, finding her gaze somewhat comforting. Knowing that the woman now cared for her, unlike a few months ago when they were on rocky grounds, it was nice to know that she was back on her side.
Knowing the woman well and sensing something was on her mind, she tilted her head at her, trying to get a silent answer out of her.
Lena simply frowned small, fidgeting with her fingers, finding her heels very interesting.
Kara sighed. "As for Myriad. Lena." She looks back up at her name. "Could you rewrite and reverse the code Lex used for Myriad?"
Lena blinked at her suggestion, confused. "Myriad? After everything I've done, everything I've put you through? You still want to trust me?"
"You want to help half the population, help us. That's what matters." Kara smiles weakly at her. "Whatever happens, I know in your heart that—"
"Kara." Lena smiles shyly as she steps over in front of her.
"Lena?"
"I know you're the Paragon of Hope, but shut up with the heartfelt hopeful speech about me." Lena grabbed her by the collar of her suit to kiss her gently. Kara's eyes flutter shut as she relaxes into the kiss, holding onto her waist to bring her closer.
Dreamer grinned, whispering to Alex, "Fucking finally."
"Right?" she whispers back.
Kelly turned to her girlfriend, who is looking at her shoes, rocking back and forth on her heels. "Did you know—"
"That my sister's an oblivious idiot!" Alex increased the volume of her voice, making the two separate with chuckles, both blushing like mad.
Alex nodded, looking back at her girlfriend. "Yes, I knew that."
"I think we all knew that," Dreamer scoffs.
"Alrighty!" J'onn claps his hands together, clearing the air. "Let's get to work people. Got an evil madman to stop."
"Can I be the one to punch him unconscious later?" Alex asks, raising her hand.
"Uh, no," Lena says, pointing at herself. "Family first."
"Always." Everyone spread out about in the Tower, grabbing teleporting watches and heading off in a purple oval, leaving Lena and Supergirl there as J'onn flew out.
Kara shook her head with a smile. "I'm glad you did that 'cause as Alex said, I'm an idiot and I wouldn't have done it until everything was over."
"I just needed you to shut up and you just look really hot in your suit." The Super blushes once more, looking down at her boots. Lena steps in front of her once more, grabbing onto her arms to get her to look at her.
The Luthor smiles, rubbing up and down over her arms to comfort her. "But when this is all over, we'll talk about us and this, okay?"
Kara nods, smiling confidently. "Let's go get your brother."
