Once Upon A Time
Once upon a time, in the city of Paris lived a very special boy. The richest boy of them all. And the handsomest according to France Vogue. Had a father in which locked him upon to be hidden from the world to see. His occasional appearances included TV, magazines, and sometimes movies if you were talking about his alter-ego. While he was locked up his father gave him a few exceptions to the outside world. Being in his bedroom all day, homeschooled with no real friends to talk to drove him crazy. After his mother suggested the idea of public school before her passing it was only fair that his father was to seek out those wishes. Granted the boy would go to school with a bodyguard. After a time, the boy suggested small things starting from walking to school instead, then, getting his diverse licence, then buying his first car, working his way up to having no bodyguard. His father even allowed him to go to a sleepover once!
While his visiting times were flexed upon so was his dating life. And with that, he was left with the rest of Paris as everyone was swooning over him. Though, being a model and being surrounded by half-naked women all the time didn’t bother him too, he did manage to pick up a girlfriend. Of course, this girlfriend was not very fond of the model life however she was famous for different reasons. One being her family came from a line of famous fencers. That is how they met. The only girl in his fencing class.
They shared many, many firsts together as the boy wanted to experience as much of a normal life as possible. It started off by sitting beside a bridge sharing an ice cream. A simple lean in caused both of their lips to touch. Date after date and being unsure of his feelings towards the girl, he finally asked her to be his girlfriend. It was everything he expected. Everything he’d imagine. The only problem was… her. He felt empty and guilty dating her. She soon caught on to this guilt. Their relationship lasted a year. After her accusing him of having feelings for someone else, jealousy took over. After a long night of fighting and cursing, they decided to call it quits. The media went frantic for a few weeks causing even more pressure and publicity to the boy.
So how did he cope? It was a raven-haired, black polka-dotted, gorgeous heroine that saved him. His father didn’t have a care in the world except to exploit his son into doing business and photoshoots for him and nothing else. His father’s assistant was… she was alright but not very nurturing. He was left with nothing… or so you’d think. At the beginning of this chaos, he was granted a gift from gods, a celestial being that would enhance his strength, stamina, speed, giving him celestial powers. All thanks to his sardonic and stubborn kwami, Plagg. It was the power of destruction. He was Chat Noir. Prancing from building to building through the dim moonlight gave him all the life he needed. A supermodel by day and a black cat. But what is a hero without his heroine? That was when he met her. Ladybug. The girl of his dreams. The lady he was pining after for years to come. The lady who… constantly rejected him. In his heart, he would always have a place for her to grow, however, he thought it was best to move on.
So, if there is a superhero there must be a supervillain. HawlkMonth. Since the beginning of their summoning, the two heroes have been in a two-year-long battle, fighting the victims that HawlkMoth Akumatized. Preying on the hopeless, saddened or raging victims of Paris, France. It was after their last battle came the realization of who he could be. Or at least where he could be. However, with the boy’s luck of course the villain was closer than he thought. It wasn’t some rando that had a vendetta against happy people… but a man who was in love. They say love conquers all, don’t they? The man was just a husband with a dying wife in his hands. He was the only one that could fix this mess. At least he thought. With the help of Ladybug and Chat Noir’s Miraculous, he’d be granted one wish that alters reality. However, with this wish comes a change in the timeline. A change that can be uncalled for and unexpected. A change that could essentially end humanity. Which is why The two hero’s vowed to protect the city of Paris along with their Miraculous.
Being a superhero comes with a lot of downfalls. Mainly school. However, being homeschooled taught the boy many things the average straight A student can’t even comprehend. Being at the top of all his classes school was a breeze. And having friends made it an even better breeze. His brunette day one along with his favourite red-head and… a raven-haired girl-who he thought she hated him- but was still glad to call a friend. Although he suspected the raven-haired girl hated him, he had grown affectionate to her the most. Out of everyone, she shuns the brightest in a room. But relax! She’s just a friend guys!- He always reminded himself. However, his classmates weren’t convinced with his silly facade. Though his outstanding handsome charms made up for his obliviousness.
“And so all we have to do is see where the butterfly will lead! Then we have him right in our hands,”
After all… this boy was Adrien Agrest.
“I have a better idea,” Chat replied to his Lady.
