Work Text:
Danny was sitting on the top of the Fentonworks in the light of the full moon.
He watched the snowflake which have been made by him. He got this new power not long ago, and he felt something familiar from it.
The snowflake sparkled as the light touched its surface. Snow is the sign that he has kind and youthful soul.
A breeze brushed his check, and he remembered his first meeting with a ghost.
It was happened in a sunny spring day. The six years old Danny was spending time with his mother in the playground.
The boy asked after his sandbox toys then with the bucket and the shovel he sat down in the sand. He wanted to make a huge castle.
When the sand was in the mold he looked up and noticed a teenager boy in the edge of the sandbox.
Danny got up and walked towards the stranger.
"Hi! My name is Danny. What's your name? "
The boy was surprised.
"Do you see me?"
Danny thought that it was a weird answer.
"Why wouldn't I see you?"-Danny puckered his brows.
"Nevermind"- the boy shaked his head with a smile. "My name is Jack Frost"
"My daddy name is Jack too."
"You are alone here?"
"No there is my mom. She is sitting on the bench."-Danny pointed toward her, then turned back to the boy. "Do you wanna play with me?"
"Of course! I won't be the guardian of the fun if I wouldn't want to play. Danny do you want to snow-fighting?"
"Yes... But there is no snow. How?"
"Look at there!" -Jack's hands made a circle, and in the middle there was a snowball.
"Wow. But it's just one. And I don't have..."
The snowboy shaked his head again, and threw up the ball.
White clouds started covering the sky.
"Danny who are you talking to?"- his mother asked.
"I'm speaking with Jack Frost."
His mom stepped out to cover him. In her hand was an ectogun pointed toward to Frost.
It was already snowing.
"Come out you ghost!"
"But mom there is no ghost, just a boy like me."- Danny tried to arguing.
"Your mother don't believe in good ghosts. That's why she can't see me. Don't forget that there are good spirits too."-Jack smiled, then he got away with the wind.
"He left..." -Danny said sadly.
"We are going home."-She grabbed her child arm, and they leaved the place together.
He have never met Jack Frost after that incident, but his words echoed through in his heart. "There are good spirits too" this sentence give him power to do the right things always, and give him hope that he could meet other good ghosts too (like the yetis from the far frozen, or Pandora).
~Where is he now? Will we meet again?~ Daniel was wondering, meanwhile the snowflake started melting. He wasn't able to hold it anymore, because in his human from he had less power. He put down his hands, and just looked up the star full sky. Perhaps it wasn't perfect (light pollution and the full moon) but at the last, it calmed him down.
