Bokuto pov
I woke up and my head was killing me but I didn't drink last night or did I. I jumped out of the bed but I wasn’t in my room. When it clicked I was in my high schoolroom. I turn to see the door open and to see a younger version of myself. He screams so I scream too. “Who are you? What are you doing in my room and why do you look like me?”. My younger version said. “Look it might seem hard to believe but I am you from the future,” I said. “There's no way you’re from the future to prove it”. Younger me said. “You have a plushie of an owl that reminds you of him and you can't sleep without it because you will enter emo mode”. I said with pride because I still have it. I remember that I didn’t sleep well once I forgot about training camp. Poor Akaashi had to deal with my shitty attitude for a week. He turns into a blushing mess because still to this day I haven’t told Akaashi to save some of my pride. “How do you know about something that no one knows?” he screams. “ I know because I’m you,” I said, screaming back cause I’m childish. “How are we in the future,” he said. Should I tell him that I’m married to akaashi Nah, let's make it fun. “Well, you are a professional volleyball player and Olympian for the Japan national team”. I said with a smirk because I never thought I would make it at that age. When I saw my younger version freak out I felt so proud of my achievement. “HEY HEY HEY I’m the best”. He said. Damm, I was a loud teenager and akaashi had to deal with that. I’m making a mental note to set a bath for akaashi with silent time for pulling up with me. You have to come with me so I can show Akaashi how amazing I am so he can be proud of me. I remember me and akaashi just started to date. I’m telling him after I see baby akaashi, he probably looks so cute. “Come on, tell me,” he complains and throws himself on the bed. How did akaashi fall in love with that? “Don’t you have morning practice?” I said because he is going to be late and akaashi will yell at us and we will enter emo mode. I’m so grateful I grew out of those. “Mr. Older me, would you like to come to morning practice with me,” he said. Of course, I said yes to see a baby Akaashi. He let me use some of his big clothes and went to morning practice.
Thank god I have my phone or I would be done for. We are 25 minutes late and the team is waiting for us since we are always the first ones there. Akaashi is probably thinking someone kills me or kidnaps me. “ Kotaro Bokuto, why on earth don’t you answer your phone? Do you know how worried I was? ''. Said every angry Akaashi. It was younger me, Akaashi, Wataru,. I got Konoha, Washio. After the three-on-three which of course I won. “Omg, you are so strong, how did you do half of that?'' said Konoha. “I mean I’m an Olympian,” I said with pride. Younger me started to brag when he remembered that I never answered his question. “You never answer me to who you are married to,” he said. I had the biggest smile because I got to tell my younger self that he married the love of his life. Now everyone is looking at me hoping it is akaashi since we were dating at that time. I turn to Akaashi and smile. “I married you akaashi, you are now Keji Bokuto and we've been married for 5 years”. Younger me looked like he saw a ghost. Akaashi looks like he is about to cry. So after convincing akaashi to skip school to hang out with me before I go back to the future. We went back to my old house. “So any question for me,” I said as I sat down on a chair the younger me had in his bedroom. “What do I do for work, bokuto san,” he said. “ Well you work for a manga company as an editor and you have glasses that make you look so pretty”. Akaashi started to blush so hard. So younger me hug akaashi and akaashi hide his face in younger me chest. I laugh at them because my akaashi is bold now. I miss my Akaashi. “How old are you Bokuto san,” asked Akaashi still buried in younger me chest. “Well I’m 27 years old and you are 26 years old and we got married when I was 23 and you were 24,” I said looking at my wedding ring. “How did we get married,” said younger me hugging akaashi tight. “Well, you propose to Akaashi after getting accepted to MSBY black Jackal and you decide to go all out in asking Akaashi to marry you,” I said with the biggest smile because remembering that day bring me so much joy. “I can you please tell the story of how you propose to me,” asked akaashi as he was playing with younger me hair. “Of course I tell you”
“Well, I had a plan and I need help from our closest friends to make this happen. I planed to give one of our friends somewhere until it was 11:30 because when I asked you to be my boyfriend. The first thing I had for you was to go eat breakfast with Yamaguchi at 9:00 because you are not a morning person. I had planned for you to go to the spa with Suga from 11:30 to 2:30 am. Oikawa was going to pick you up to take you to go get your manicure and pedicure but also get your eyelash done. That was from 3:00 to 5:30 After that, you went with Atsumu to get your outfit for tonight which you look so hot and pretty at the same time. That was from 6:00 to 7:00. Once you got your outfit suna did your makeup and that was from 7:30 to 8:00. After that Yaku and Kenma took you to eat dinner from 8:30 to 9:30. Then Shirabu pick you up and took you to the park near our apartments where was noya waiting to give you 22 rose and a huge owl plushie and box what had pictures of us over the year with all of your favorites candy and note that said Akaashi this park has some of our favorite memory but the one that stands out the most is when you and I had date under the star and it the first time I said I love you to you. Your next location is the place we celebrated our first anniversary. Good luck my owl. We celebrated our first anniversary at Osamu restaurant and to be exact we sat at every last table that way from everyone else. There was tendou waiting to give you a basket of the book you wanted and some of your favorite skincare stuff and a bouquet of his favorite flower which is lilac. When you got to our apartment and went to the bedroom the room was full of rose petals and the bed had a heart made of rose petals and around the bed it had candles. Hinata took you to a park near your parent’s house, the park we love to go on dates in high school. Hinata blindfolded you and took you to a tree where you love to take a nap after school and before practice. The tree had a light around and a picture of us in the branch. I stood under the tree in a suit and font was the love of my life. So I told Akaashi I was going to read to him a letter I wrote before we started to date.

Hello, Akaashi I wrote this letter to you but I’m not going to give it to you because this is going to be my last card and ever write to you. After all, I will try to forget you so you can be happy with your boyfriend but before I let you go. Let me tell you how much I love you and adore you for the last time. I remember the first time we met and the first out of my mouth was You are the most beautiful person I have ever seen and I don’t lie. When you become my setter and vice-captain and my world. I remember when I figured out I like you, it was when we stayed after practice too. I remember we were cleaning the gym when you stepped on the volleyball and were about to fall and I caught you before falling and I saw your beautiful ocean eye. At that moment everything clicked. I like Keji Akaashi but I released it too late because the next day you said you have a boyfriend. I remember my heart broke into a billion pieces. That morning practice was the hardest day to keep smiling when inside I was crying and screaming. I avoided Akaashi all through morning practice and when it ended I ditch school and went home to cry my heart out. I didn't go to school for 3 days and didn't answer my phone until my older sister told me to get it together. When I came back to school people told me I was being cold and for practice. I made myself a promise to only talk to you if it was for volleyball and nothing more. It only took me 3 days before I returned to my old self but I was dead inside because the person I love the most is someone else. What broke my heart was Akaashi trying to get me to talk to him but I saw him kiss and laugh with his boyfriend. I made my mind up to forget about him and I only had some months before I graduate and leave you. So Akaashi was my first love and the person who helped me become the powerful ace. With that my alarm went off. It was a dream and I opened my eyes to see Keji bring me my morning coffee. “My love you never guess the dream I had.
