The room was quiet except for the breathing of the inhabitants slowing to a normal pace.
“Have you given any thought to my proposal?” Dias murmured into Selvan’s chest.
Selvan went stiff beneath him. “What propos-- ah!” Selvan’s arm came up to brush Dias's head. “Your hair was in my mouth,” he said, reproachfully.
“The price of basking in my beauty.” Dias yawned. “I make no apologies. Besides, you’re the one who untied it. Well?”
“By proposal, you mean plotting high treason against the crown?”
“How vulgar. I merely proposed replacing our antiquated monarchy.”
Selvan chuckled. “I suppose I do.”
