Not Afraid:
Richard Wheatley smiled mockingly at his ex-wife. "Girl, you're a hot mess, still trying to seduce him? You know you're not the love of his life nor was that poor woman he married, the love of his life," he said.
Watching behind the glass, Sergeant Bell and Captain Benson listened silently. Bell tensed at Wheatley's words and glanced at Olivia out of the corner of her eye.
The older woman showed no reaction except for a small frown. "Captain Benson, if this is a threat against you," she started to say but stopped when Olivia began walking towards the interrogation room.
Olivia stopped and turned towards Bell, "Do you mind if I have a word with Wheatley?" she asked.
Bell looked at her concerned before glancing back at the interrogation room, "I don't know Captain, if Wheatley knows who you are then he could go after you," she said.
Olivia began walking towards the door, " Wheatley doesn't scare me, Sergeant," she said with a slight huff.
Bell's eyes darkened, "He should, this man's a monster," she said.
Olivia stopped at the door, her hand on the knob, "Sergeant Bell as much as I appreciate your concern, I'm telling you that Wheatley doesn't scare me because you can't be scared of a monster when you've already met the devil," she said, as she walked into the interrogation room, leaving a confused Bell behind her.
Wheatley was still taunting Elliot and Angela when Olivia walked in. The moment he saw her, his eyes widened and a wide smirk took over his face, "Well speak of the devil here she is!" he said.
Olivia looked at him coldly, "The love of his life huh?" she said, ignoring Elliot's stern stare which, clearly said he didn't want her anywhere near Wheatley.
Angela gave the older woman a confused stare, wondering who the hell she was until it clicked that this must be who her husband had been talking about. She didn't have time to think about it as her ex-husband began talking.
Wheatley smiled at her, "I'm only stating the obvious," he said.
Olivia looked at him coldly, "Well I hate to burst your bubble but I doubt that's true, I mean he and I were partners for twelve years and he up and left me without so much as a goodbye," she said, making Elliot wince. Behind the glass, Bell was thinking what a jackass move that was.
Wheatley's face softened, "What can I say? We men do stupid things when we have someone we want to protect," he said.
Olivia's eyes darkened and she took a step closer to Wheatley ignoring Elliot and Angela were in the room. "So you must not have cared very much about Raffi then?" she said.
Wheatley quirked an eyebrow up at her, "I never said that," he said.
Olivia tilted her head, "Actually you did, or is everything you say just bullshit?" she said.
Wheatley stared her down a moment before again smiling at her, "You misunderstand me, detective, I mean captain, I meant when a man loves a woman. Children are a different matter entirely," he said.
Olivia nodded, "Oh I get it, all you do is threaten people. Kind of lame if you ask me, I mean threatening another's loved ones, that's kind of old don't you think?" she asks.
Her words cause Bell's mouth to fall open, Elliot levels her a warning glare and Angels looks back and forth between the two. Wheatley for his part looks at her smugly, "Whatever gets people to listen, and I don't threaten people, Captain," he says.
Olivia takes another step closer to Wheatley, "No, you just have others do your dirty work. Some monster you turned out to be, a real monster would have the guts to do the deed himself," she says.
Wheatley loses his smug demeanor, "Now listen hear Captain, I'm not a man you want to mess with," he says.
Olivia smirks, "Is that an admission or a threat?" she says.
Wheatley's eyes darken, "Both," he says.
Olivia tilts her head, "Is that suppose to scare me?" she asks.
Wheatley leans back in his seat and laughs before looking at Elliot. "Well I can see why you fell in love with her detective Stabler, but tell me does she know when to back off?" he asks.
Elliot glares at him but Olivia continues, "Because it doesn't. you know why? Because I've already met the devil," she says as she begins removing her jacket.
Elliot freezes and stares at her wondering what she's talking about. Wheatley stares at her intently as she begins removing her shirt. Olivia continues, "I was forced to spend three nights and four days with him against my will, and let me tell you they were the worst days and nights of my existence," she said.
Everyone in the room and outside of it is watching her intently as she finally unlatches the last button, "That bastard tortured me in every way you can think of," she says finally removing her shirt and when she does she hears Angella gasp, she doesn't dare stare at Elliot though.
Elliot for his part has stopped breathing and his eyes are wide with horror; behind the glass, Bell thinks she's going to be sick. Every inch of Olivia's body is scarred. Her arms are covered with burn marks from where Lewis burned her flesh with cigarettes, her back has lash marks from a whip and on her torso is a brand mark from her own badge.
Olivia looks at Wheatley, a dead look in her eye, "His name was William Lewis and he was the devil. So if you think you can threaten me against detective Stabler, think again because I've already played with the devil, so the only thing you could possibly do to me that Lewis didn't would be to kill me," she said, and with that, she grabs her clothes and walks out the room.
