Chapter Text
Amity Park had felt at peace, now that the vile ringmaster of Freakshow, or rather Frederich Isak Showenhower, and the stolen goods were returned to the number of businesses that were robbed, but the connection between Phantom and Freakshow was still out there and Danny Fenton didn't want to know what he should do to fix it.
While he seemed ordinary to the observer's eye, he was, in fact, the 'hero-slash-delinquent Danny Phantom' after getting a massive dose of Ghost Zone energies pounded into him and he was regretting his part in Freakshow's game, he recovered a few times, but did that fix anything that he did or what was seen to his doing while under the control?
"No..." Danny moaned as he turned in his bed, having returned from the punishment that the parents had made them do for disobeying them, though his case could have been different if he just...
He shook his head before falling asleep, it's been far too long and he needed to just snooze, who knows what could happen next in his life...
...If only he knew how big of a thing that was going to occur was...
In an alleyway close to the Nasty Burger, the space there started to shift and move before it opened as a glowing green portal and out tumbled a mechanicalized suit of armor before it rolled getting up as it called out. "What the...!? Talia!!" It leapt for the portal before crashing as the portal closed and it pulled itself free from the rubble before assessing the location. "I've heard of dimensional rifts, but the Ghost Zone is often more predictable than most should expect..." The armor receded into bracers and greaves before the human moved his goggles from his eyes, blinking to be sure in looking around before pulling them down again. "Dune, run local time date, and hit me on it."
'Current time date unknown, however, local news and commercial outlets report the recent arrest of one Frederich Isak Showenhower, other outlets also show the appearance of Danny Phantom with the minor error of eye colorizing of scarlet red.' A computerized text appeared on the inside of the goggles as the youth breathed, his attire a mix of a more steampunk theme and of modern clothing, as he removed the goggles once more to look about.
"Great, I've gone back in time..." He hummed rubbing his jaw. "No, that can't be right..." He looked to the street and walked as he commented to himself. "I couldn't easily be affected by time on account of his gear, it anchors me, sure, but that should keep me close to the time where I left..." He hummed before he snapped by tapping an earpiece. "Worm, browse local tech levels, look for signs of the Exorcist."
"Scanning..." A voice spoke before it finished... five seconds in and he frowned. "Tech Levels are still in the minor amounts, no sign of mechanical power suits except for the creations of Ghost Hunter Skulker and Bodysuit of Valerie Gray." The youth rubbed his temples in grimacing.
"So... not just time... but also reality..." He rubbed his face not liking the sound of it before he breathed and popped his neck before he spoke. "Worm, patch me into the Fenton Tech, I need to know where Desiree Crystal is located..." He continued as a green gas came flowing toward him from behind. "With any luck, I can find her and..."
"Find your doom, male, no man may touch me..." Desiree spoke as she formed behind him as she shouted. "...unless I wish it!" But he did not reel in fear as he spoke with a frown.
"Wonderful..." The right hand armored up and he blasted, Desiree was surprised for a moment by getting nailed into the wall before her throat was snatched when the suited individual rushed and grabbed her. "I would hate to do this, but you leave me little choice. I wish you would listen to me for the duration of my limited stay here until I am forced to return to my proper dimension or when your counterpart arrives to join me...!"
Desiree hissed before she relucted. "So you have wished it, so it shall be..." A pulse of energy and everything settled before the gloved hand removed itself and Desiree spoke. "You think you..." The suit receded and her eye widened at what the youth pulled out of his shirt, a medallion with the initials 'CW' on it.
"Got it when Phantom and I engaged a dark future of his misadventures, the owner of this and many others is his mentor to talk to..." He put it back in as he spoke. "Furthermore, the Sealed King is awakening and his ring will be taken by the Elder Halfa, leading him and the Fright Knight to pull Amity into the Infinite Realms, Desiree, what I bring is knowledge of those events so, by the Will of the Observant Council, second to the Triad of Cycles, I wish for you to bring to animation the story of Danny Phantom and his journey, his past and his possible future."
Desiree bit her lip, she couldn't refuse, even if she wasn't bound to her ghostly affection as she spoke. "So you have wished it, so it shall be..." Another plume erupted across Amity and found the most perfect place for such a broadcast as she spoke. "You trifle with powers beyond your will, mortal."
"I don't doubt that..." The youth spoke as he rested a hand on his earpiece. "...But what is to come and occur is not my choice and, if I can adjust the tale, then I have done my job in revealing what is hidden and unknown." He turned as he spoke. "Set up an observation deck in the clouds, what is going to happen is not for us to be on the ground for..." Desiree yielded to the request as she molded a realm in the clouds and soon teleported them both there to watch as events unfold in Amity Park...
Danny Fenton groaned as he still didn't feel like he slept, but he... did. He blinked before realizing that he didn't get a single ghost to fight with, no mad schemes or plots to foil, just... nothing as he got out of bed and got dressed to find out what was happening before he found something was up as Jazz rushed up the stairs to him. "Danny!"
"Jazz?" Danny went into alert at how panicked Jazz looked before grabbing her arms. "What's wrong, is something going on!?"
"I-I don't know, did you..." She tried again panting in fear and exhaustion. "Did you... somehow make a show about yourself?" Danny blinked before he answered.
"No... why...?" He dreaded the answer, but he had to hear it. "Did... something like that come up?"
Jazz nodded as she spoke. "Somehow, somewhere, someone, I don't know exactly, they just submitted to Amity Park News a collection of discs depicting 'Danny Phantom's Adventures' like what happened to him." Danny paled before Maddie called up.
"Kids, come on down, we should see what that vile delinquent is doing while we aren't looking!"
"I think I'm going to be sick..."
