Chapter Text

"P-please, no ..."

The omega begged in terror, desperately trying to hide his thin and fragile body from the sight of his predators. He was surrounded, and he knew it was too late to escape, the pack had flanked all possible escape routes from him, there was only the hope of receiving any kind of reprieve if he proved not rebellious.

Tim had been doing well. He had been careful, he had not made any mistakes in his books, he had stayed away from the herds, from the numerous settlements, away from the roads or highways, hidden deep in the woods, where he had his hut and could subsist peacefully of what he cultivated and hunted without having contact with society other than for articles that he could not manufacture himself, he could count on one hand the times he had left the forest in these four years since he lost his mother. Then why? Why was this happening to him?!, What had he done wrong ?!

“Let's give it a break, guys. It looks like he's going to pass out ”one of the betas, a tall red-haired woman said as she took a couple of steps closer to him.

"Hello, little one" let out a friendly voice from the right of her, but out of sight of her. "You've been here a long time haven't you?" her voice was soft, with a soothing touch, but Tim could only feel fear. He knew that the people who pretended to be nice were the cruelest.

“Smart as hell too. It took us almost a year to get the hang of it. "

Tim jumps at the statement. He turns around and can see that the one who said this is another alpha. This one has black hair with a lone lock of white hair in his bangs, and he's stocky, tall, tall and muscular enough that he knows he doesn't stand a chance if he were to lay his hands on him. . Those huge hands and arms could crush his face with a single punch.
His brain can't stop thinking about this alpha's declaration. Tim had a habit of moving through the woods and changing shelters at least three times a year, into small random huts that he built in hard-to-reach spots to keep himself safe. If what he says is true, they had a whole year to map his locations, and that meant that even though he could somehow miraculously flee, he couldn't hide, not without starting from scratch. It was going to be impossible to lose them.

Someone else stepped forward. His scent and his aura screamed alpha of the pack. This one was black haired, too, but even when the alpha with the white lock was tall and muscular, he was dwarfed by at least half a head and the sturdiness of a bloody tank. Her stern gaze of sharp, dark blue eyes challenged him to try to disobey him.

“Give it up,” he says, and his voice has an alpha command touch, just enough for Tim to feel an instinctive need to bow his head and submit, which he barely resists. If you resist, I will have to submit you. "

Tim takes a few stumbling steps away, his breathing quickening. This situation is basically all of his nightmares coming life. Everything her mother told her to avoid, what she had to live, a prisoner of a pack that abused her and hurt her so much that when she finally managed to free herself and run with Tim in tow, before to his presentation as an omega like her, the aftermath killed her shortly after, leaving him alone to fend for himself in the forest.
He shakes his head, unable to speak, unable to uselessly plead for mercy. He knows that he will not be able to bear the same things as his mother, he is not so strong, so smart, not even so pretty that they do not consider seriously hurting him in an attempt to preserve his beauty. He is skinny, pale and definitely lacking in curves. He will not survive long enough to escape.

"I won't hurt you," says the alpha, analyzing the fear gnawing at Tim, and turning his gaze into something less threatening. He bends his posture in an appeasing gesture "None of us will hurt you, but we cannot afford not to claim you."

Worst of all, Tim knows it's true. As much as omegas are treated like garbage by most of humanity, they are basically the rope that holds a pack together. Pack ties are only made effective through an omega, and because of its obvious reproductive role, no pack would neglect the opportunity to claim an omega. Much less a rogue omega like Tim who has no claims on him, so there's no need to start a pack fight for his custody.

"He's fucking scared, Bruce," says the alpha with the white lock, who is lying quietly on the trunk of a nearby tree, but still lurking in case Tim tries to run away "I think the best thing is to give him a pheromone bath and leave, we will take care of the rest at home, if we stay longer, we could attract unwanted attention.”

The alpha nods. Better to avoid any chance of encountering more rogues and initiate a possible bloodbath.

The alpha takes one last look at his trembling form and seems to shake off any spark of doubt. He quickly approaches Tim who reacts with scared and desperate violence, growling and trying to attack the huge alpha, even when he knows there is no chance. A little scuffle is all it takes to have Tim face the ground and the alpha quickly squeeze the pheromone gland on the omega's neck, activating his submission mechanism.

Tim runs out of bones. He exhales a terrified groan, but otherwise doesn't move, the alpha gently picks him up in his arms, gently cradling his head. He is smooth, much gentler than Tim would expect from an alpha of his stature, or any alpha for that matter.

"Poor thing" says the red-haired beta, approaching "I don't think I will have good experiences with a herd if it chose to stay in a damn forest abandoned by God, suffering isolation and all kinds of faults instead of look for a pack"

The alpha nods "we will treat him well" says, while the omega groans again and trembles like a leaf "with a little patience and time we will show him that he has nothing to fear."

“We've been lucky to last as long as a herd without an omega to join us” says the white-tufted alpha “you better treat him like a fucking treasure. I didn't join this pack to see what people like Black Mask or the fucking Joker do to omegas. "

The conversation continues, but that's all Tim hears before fear and submission turn everything black.
