EDIT 1/6/25: For the Criss Cross challenge for Voiceteam Mystery Box 2024, we were challenged to "create an audio fanwork where the tone of the music and/or effects is as mismatched as possible to the tone of the story and performance." So I thought of this story and how you could flipflop the scoring so that it doesn't match the mood of the narration at all. And then of course I wanted to make a version where the music DID actually match and enhance the scene XD Thanks to Tipsy_Kitty for the delightful cover art! Also used to fill my "transform an existing podfic" square for podfic_bingo!
