Chapter Text
Regina didn’t know what she was expecting when she entered her house after coming back from having a date night with Robin, but, she certainly didn’t expect to see Evie curled into Emma’s side on her sofa while Emma played with her hair, and they watched Harry Potter together.
They hadn’t noticed her yet, so she just took some time to observe them. She and Emma didn’t speak anymore. It had been four years now since they had last had a civil conversation, and she had been unaware that Evie and Emma had gotten to know each other and especially to the point that they were comfortable enough to cuddle together.
Regina wasn’t a very affectionate person, apart from with Henry. She very seldom cuddled with Robin, and when she did, it was because he initiated it, so she had just assumed Evie would be the same, but clearly, she was wrong.
She briefly wondered how they had gotten to the point of being friends; Emma was very rarely seen in town and chose to hide out in Jefferson’s old mansion that had been abandoned when he went back to wonderland with grace.
Evie, even though she now shared some of Regina’s lightness, still hadn’t been entirely accepted by the townspeople, so she tended to keep to herself, and the only other two people Regina had ever seen her with were Zelena and Mal.
She was yanked out of her thoughts when she heard Evie’s low voice. ‘Do you really find her attractive?’ She asked as she looked up at Emma’s face. Regina was sure she heard a hint of jealousy, but then dismissed it a second later because that was absurd, wasn’t it?
Emma looked down at her with a smirk. ‘Well, she is kind of hot, in a psychotic murderer type of way, and those dresses look incredible on her.’ Regina heard Evie scoff before Emma raised an eyebrow at her.
‘My clothes from the Enchanted Forest were a hell of a lot hotter than hers, and I was way more psychotic, only I didn’t murder children.’ Evie crossed her arms over her chest. ‘Nobody likes a child killer, Emma,’ she pouted with a slight whine.
Regina was quite flabbergasted. She had never seen her other half act so comfortable around another person; even with Regina and Henry, she was pretty closed off and muted, and the only reaction Robin got out of her was a few sneers here and there, and that was on a good day the rest of the time she snapped at him or pretended he didn’t exist. It was odd to see her being her true self, with no masks or walls up.
2Regina herself had found no one that made her feel comfortable enough to truly be herself around, to let go and let her true self flourish. There was someone a while ago that had come pretty damn close to seeing her completely exposed and vulnerable, but then life happened, Robin came along and that person turned out to be not at all what she expected.
Emma let out a soft chuckle at Evie’s petulant face and moody posture. ‘Is that jealousy I detect, my majesty?’ she teased, making Evie scowl at her, though she didn’t deny the accusation. ‘If it’ll make you feel better, then I’ll tell you right now that you’re ten times hotter than Bellatrix Lestrange is.’ She smirked mischievously as she leaned down to whisper in Evie’s ear. ‘I’d much prefer to wake up with you in my bed.’
Emma wasn’t actually very good at whispering, and Regina heard precisely what she’d said, and it took all of her self-control not to gasp out loud. She was so glad Robin had decided to stay in the Rabbit Hole for a few more drinks with Killian.
Regina watched in something akin to horror as a face that was almost identical to her own blushed a deep shade of red before Evie leaned in and-
‘Reg,’ yelled Robin as he stumbled through the front door with Killian right behind him, making Regina cringe at the volume of his voice.
Emma’s and Evie’s heads jerked towards the den door where they saw Regina with her eyes shut, seemingly counting to ten before they opened again, and she turned to face them
Evie felt Emma tense beside her, and she reached out and took her hand before she started stroking the back of it with her thumb. ‘How long have you been spying on us?’ sneered Evie towards Regina before she heard Killian’s loud, loathsome voice and added. ‘Why the hell is the filthy pirate here?’
Regina took a step into the room and glared at her. ‘I was not spying on anyone,’ she snarled as she felt her annoyance spike dangerously at the sound of Killian and Robin drunkenly floundering through the foyer. ‘This is my goddamned house.’ She threw her hands up in the air when she heard Robin shriek her name again.
‘I should probably go,’ commented Emma, who sounded highly uncomfortable as she avoided eye contact with Regina. She rose from the sofa, only to have Evie grab her hand and halt her movements. ‘Evie, please.’
‘No, mi precioso cisne,’ responded Evie with a hint of annoyance. ‘This is my house too, and you don’t have to leave just because the Neanderthal and his boyfriend have returned.’ She stood up and came to stand beside Emma as she glowered coldly towards the den’s doorway.
Emma was about to reply, but Robin’s voice was heard instead. ‘Oh look, it’s the dark one and her evil mate. Have you come to steal the hearts of our children?’ He slurred while his eyes struggled to focus on Emma as he stumbled into the room.
Emma turned away from him and took a deep breath to calm the fire that was now raging inside her. She could hear Hook sniggering from the doorway, and she had to force herself not to go over there and strangle the life out of him and his dickhead of a friend. ‘I’m going to go before someone gets seriously hurt,’ she gritted out towards Evie, who was glaring at Regina with a look that could only be described as a mixture of disgust and disappointment.
‘You’re good at that, aren’t you, Swan?’ asked Killian as he swayed towards her. ‘That’s your answer to everything. To run away and leave everyone else to clean up your mess. I don’t even know why you bothered coming back; nobody wants you here,’ he spat bitterly. ‘Even your own boy hates you.’
‘That’s enough,’ roared Regina, her lip curled into a snarl. She turned to Robin and softened her voice as she gave him a warm smile. ‘Will you take Killian into the kitchen, please, before Evie sets him on fire?’ She could feel the power radiating from her while purple magic swirled in her eyes, and she knew it wouldn’t end well for any of them, mainly Hook and Robin, if she didn’t intervene.
Robin did not look happy about the request, but nodded anyway before grabbing Hook’s arm and leading him towards the den door. ‘Get that she-devil out of my house,’ he growled as he passed Regina. ‘I don’t want Roland being around people like her.’ He let out a cry of pain a few moments later as he felt an agonizing bolt of electricity hit him in the groin. He turned around to retaliate, only to have the den door slammed in his face.
‘Are you okay?’ asked Evie softly as she moved over to Emma, who was still standing stiffly in the middle of the room. Evie absolutely detested Robin and Killian, though Regina wasn’t exactly behaving any better, and if she weren’t careful, she wouldn’t be responsible for her actions.
‘I’m fine,’ replied Emma woodenly. Her eyes were cold and devoid of emotion, while her posture was closed off and defensive. ‘It’s not like I haven’t heard those words before.’ She let out a dark chuckle. ‘I ask myself the same question almost every day.’ She shook her head before she leaned forward to kiss Evie’s cheek. ‘I’ll see you tomorrow.’ She flicked her wrist and disappeared in a cloud of silver smoke.
Evie rounded on Regina almost immediately, her eyes hard and her lip curled into a sneer. ‘I’m moving out. Tomorrow I will look for my own place. It disgusts me that you can stand by and watch your ‘soulmate.’ She used air quotes to stress how much she thought the whole thing was bullshit before she continued. ‘Tear apart the woman that only became what she did to save your pathetic little life.’
‘Emma took away our memories and then disappeared for nearly four whole years,’ Regina hissed back, keeping her voice low so Robin and Killian wouldn’t overhear. 'She then returned out of the blue in the middle of the night, without a word to anyone. I only knew because I sensed her magic. The only people she’s even attempted to talk to is Henry and apparently you,’ she spat venomously as she felt tears sting at her eyes, but she wouldn’t let them fall. 'Snow and Charming don't even know she's back. She broke our son’s heart and abandoned him again without a thought of how her actions would affect him.’
Evie reached out and gripped Regina’s chin as her eyes bore into Regina’s identical ones. ‘How long have we known her?’ She asked, and when Regina kept quiet, Evie answered for her. ‘Nearly six years and we both know that Emma wouldn’t have done what she did without good reason, not to us, and certainly not to Henry. Has it ever crossed your dull little mind?’ She tapped her nail on the side of Regina’s head. ‘That maybe everything that Emma did was to protect you? And more importantly, our son? After all, that was why she became the dark one in the first place.’
Regina ripped her face out of Evie’s grasp as she scoffed. ‘She became the dark one to save the town, not me. She had no other choice; I would have killed her parents and probably everyone else, apart from Henry and Robin. It was her job as the saviour. She doesn’t care about Henry or me, and you’re a fool if you think she cares about you, of all people.’
Evie’s lips curled into a dangerous smirk. ‘Is that what you really believe? Or is that what your imbecile of a fiancée has brainwashed you into thinking?’ She let out a dark chuckle. ‘Tell me, Regina, why does Robin hate Emma so much? She took on the worst curse imaginable so you could build a life with him, not to mention all the times she’s saved you in the past. He wouldn’t even have a soulmate if it wasn’t for her; surely he should be grateful.’
Regina clenched her fists by her sides as her eyes blazed with anger. It sent a thrill of excitement through Evie to see her so riled up. Regina had become dull, pathetic and weak since she’d gotten with Robin, and that was the main reason Evie hadn’t been angry about the split. She had gotten sick of being locked away, and she much preferred being her own person and being free to do whatever her heart desires, mainly one desire in particular.
‘Emma stole Robin’s memories and hurt my son and I. He has every right to dislike her,’ Regina growled. ‘She also broke his best friend’s heart. She left Hook without a word, and she still to this day hasn’t given him an explanation, nor has she attempted to apologise to anyone but Henry.’
Evie moved back into Regina’s space, so their noses were almost touching. ‘He really has stripped you of everything you once were, hasn’t he? I knew it was bad, but for you to stand there and defend the man that not only led mother back to us but helped kidnap us and then stood by and watched as we were tortured, well, it can’t get any worse than that, can it?’ She Sneered. ‘Careful, Regina, because one day you're going to find out the truth, and by then, it’ll be far too late. And with that, Evie stepped back, flicked her wrist and transported herself to Emma’s mansion, leaving Regina frozen in the middle of the den, trying to figure out precisely what the fuck those cryptic last words were supposed to mean.
Later that night, when Regina was alone in her bed after Robin and Killian had passed out on the den sofas, she finally let the tears she had been holding in most of the night fall. Everything was such a mess, and honestly, she was barely holding onto her sanity.
Henry was probably the only person she felt like she wanted to be around right now, and even he sometimes drained her. He wasn’t the same person as he was before Emma became the dark one. He was angry, confused and hurting, and he was prone to mood swings. Her son was short with everyone and would only speak if spoken to. His relationship with Robin and Roland was near non existent, and he spent most of his time with his grandparents.
It hurt her immensely that he didn’t seem to want to be part of her and Robin’s family, and she wished she could blame it on Emma, but if she was being truthful, Henry hadn’t been all that fond of Robin from the start. However, he had tried for her sake, but now he wouldn’t even do that. She didn’t know what she would do if he completely cut her out, as he had done with Emma.
Evie’s words from earlier echoed through her mind, and she found herself once again trying to figure out what they meant or if they even meant anything at all. Evie was known for playing mind games, and Regina wasn’t exactly her favourite person right now. No, that role seemed to have been filled by Emma. It irritated her more than she cared to admit, and if she was capable of being honest with herself, it also made her extremely jealous. Still, she wasn’t, so she ignored that emotion and locked it away along with all her other conflicting feelings for Emma Swan.
‘One day, you’re going to learn the truth, and by then, it’ll be far too late.’ That’s what Evie had said. Did that mean that she already knew the truth? It certainly came across that way, but why would Emma confide in Evie but not her own family? ‘Why not me,’ she thought bitterly.
It made little sense; Evie was still part of Regina back then, so shouldn’t she be angry at Emma, too? What could have possibly happened in Camelot that justified Emma taking their memories and then disappearing without a trace?
Robin seemed to think that Emma did something unforgivable as the dark one and tried to cover her tracks. However, Regina didn’t know if she believed that because everyone was still alive, which meant that murder probably wasn’t the answer, and she couldn’t think of anything that could be worse than that.
Still, she was going to make it her mission to find out. Tomorrow, she would go to Emma’s mansion, and she wouldn’t leave until Emma had finally told her the truth about what happened in Camelot.
Over at Emma’s mansion, Evie was lying with her head in Emma’s lap while Emma played with her hair. They hadn’t really said much since she arrived at the mansion a few hours earlier. Emma had already been stretched out of the sofa watching friends reruns and Evie had silently joined her, knowing that Emma wouldn’t be in the mood to talk after what happened at Regina’s.
‘I’m going to look at houses tomorrow,’ commented Evie as she flipped onto her back to look up at Emma’s face. ‘I can’t stand to live there any longer.’
‘You could move in here?’ suggested Emma casually, as she continued to run her fingers through Evie’s long, thick locks. ‘The house is enormous and there's enough room for all of us without getting in each other’s way and you’re here the majority of the time, anyway.’
Evie gazed at her in wonder before she sat up. ‘You would allow that?’ she asked with a hint of surprise. She knew Emma liked her own space, and she was very particular about who she allowed in her house. It had taken them months to form the bond they had now, and they still bickered a lot.
Emma’s smile turned sheepish, and she nodded. ‘I kind of like having you around,’ she admitted quietly. She rarely showed her emotions, but she trusted Evie enough to let her see her more vulnerable side. ‘You’re one of the very few people who don’t look at me like I’m a monster.’ She let out a sigh as she ran a hand through her hair. ‘If it wasn’t for you and your friendship, I would have left Storybrooke almost as soon as I came back. I’m only staying because of you.’ She hesitated. ‘And in hopes that Henry will eventually forgive me.’
Evie smiled at her softly, her eyes warm and full of understanding. ‘You could always tell them the truth,’ she suggested gently. She knew what the answer would be, but she would always keep trying.
A dark shadow crossed Emma’s face as her whole demeanour changed and she became cold and closed off. ‘That is not an option,’ she stated in a hard tone. ‘If you’re going to move in here, I need you to know that I will not have that conversation with you. It’s in the past and that’s where it’s staying.’
Evie let out a sigh, but nodded. ‘Very well,’ she conceded, as she let her head fall on Emma’s shoulder. ‘I will collect my things tomorrow.’ She wouldn’t push Emma anymore tonight. She had been through enough, but Evie was confident that she could convince her to come clean to Regina at some point.
Emma’s body instantly relaxed, and she pressed a gentle kiss to Evie's forehead. ‘Thank you,’ she said gratefully. ‘We will have Mal and Zelena over tomorrow for drinks to celebrate you moving in.’
Mal and Zelena were the only other people Emma would speak to. Regina didn’t speak to either of them anymore, and they both detested Robin just as much as she and Evie did. Mal because she believed her old friend had changed herself so much to fit what Robin wanted in a wife, and Zelena because he had cast his daughter aside because she didn’t fit in with his perfect little family.
Emma loved Zelena’s three-year-old daughter Elodie, and luckily for the child, she looked exactly like Zelena. She had beautiful curly red hair and bright blue eyes. Her skin was fair, and she had a spatter of freckles across her nose. She was adorable and just as sassy as her mother.
'I would enjoy that,’ smiled Evie warmly before her smile turned predatory and she slung one leg over Emma’s waist as she moved to straddle her. ‘However, I can think of something we would both enjoy a lot more right now, though.’ She purred seductively into Emma’s ear before she slid off her lap, so she was kneeling on the floor in between her legs.
Emma smirked, glad for the distraction. ‘Are you going to suck my cock?’ she licked her lips as she watched Evie undo the button on her before she pulled down the zip.
‘I’ve been craving your cock down my throat all evening,’ husked Evie as she signalled for Emma to lift her hips. ‘Regina is lucky she came in when she did because if she had been any later, she would have witnessed me choking on your dick.’ She took her hand and stroked slowly up and down Emma’s shaft.
The magic cock spell has been a big feature in their sex life, since they had first started sleep together two months ago. Evie loved nothing more than being pinned down and fucked hard by Emma and her cock.
Emma let out a throaty chuckle before her own drawn-out groan cut her off. ‘Fuck, baby, that feels so good.’ Her hand gripped the armrest of the sofa as Evie tightened her fingers and increased the pace of her stroking.
Evie lowered her head and gave the tip of Emma’s cock a teasing kiss before she flicked out her tongue and collected the pre-cum that had leaked out. ‘You taste exquisite darling,’ she moaned as she looked up into Emma’s lust blown eyes.
‘Yeah?’ asked Emma with a smirk as she pushed Evie back a bit and stood up. She looked down at her, licking her lips at the sight of darkened brown eyes and smeared lipstick on plump red lips. ‘You always look so delicious when you get on your knees for me,’ she husked as she wrapped her fingers in Evie’s hair, making her moan as she tugged her closer
Evie's moan was interrupted when she felt the head of Emma’s cock pushing against her lips. ‘Open wide, your majesty,’ chuckled Emma darkly. Evie opened her mouth and Emma pushed her hips forward, not stopping until she hit the back of Evie’s throat. ‘That’s it, you cock-sucking slut, swallow my dick.’
Evie moaned around the thick cock in her mouth. It was rigid and silky under her tongue, and she delighted in the soft moans she pulled out of Emma’s throat as she hollowed her cheeks and swirled her tongue around its weeping slit. Emma’s hand tightened in her hair and she gagged a little as she roughly fucked her throat.
‘Fuck,’ groaned Emma as she fucked her cock into Evie’s tight throat. She felt her balls tighten, and she knew she was close to Cumming. She looked down to see Evie’s ruby red lips stretched obscenely around her cock as saliva dribbled from her mouth while her eyes watered and her mascara ran down her cheeks. ‘You look so fucking hot.’ She pulled her hips back and thrust forward roughly before she stilled for a few seconds, listening to Evie choking on her fat cock.
Evie gulped in a breath of air as Emma removed her cock from her throat. ‘I was enjoying that,’ she pouted, her voice hoarse and husky.
Emma looked down at her and smirked before she dragged her up to her feet by her hair, making Evie moan loudly. ‘I was about to cum and I want to fill your cunt,’ she purred before she spun her around and bent her over the sofa.
'You know, I prefer to be fucked in a bed,’ growled Evie as she turned her head to look at Emma with a raised eyebrow. ‘You remember what happened the other week?’ She heard Emma let out a dirty chuckle before her dress was lifted and her ruined thong was pushed to the side.
‘I remember,’ replied Emma breathlessly as she gripped Evie’s hips and drove her cock into her tight, wet cunt, bottoming out in one thrust. ‘it was highly enjoyable, watching you eat Mal’s cunt while I fucked your tight little ass.’ She swung her hand back and brought it down harshly on Evie’s left ass cheek.
Evie cried out as her body jolted forward with the force of Emma’s slap. ‘Fuck, darling, again,’ she moaned, as the pain quickly turned into pleasure. ‘I enjoyed it too, but you know she and Zelena are fucking, so it can’t happen again?’
Mal had caught them fucking a few weeks ago, and Emma had in invited her to join them, which Evie hadn’t minded. It was hot watching the dragon submit to Emma and Mal had been trying to fuck her and Regina for years, but Regina had never allowed it. She didn't want to ruin their friendship. Evie, however, had no such hang-ups, and they’d had a lot of fun. But it was a one-night thing and she wanted to make sure Emma knew it wouldn’t happen again.
The truth was, Evie didn’t want anyone other than Emma touching her; she adored Emma; she loved her and she was the only person Evie wanted to be with sexually and romantically, but unfortunately Regina had ruined all chances of a committed relationship between them so she would just have to settle for whatever she could get which was getting fucked in various parts of Emma’s house whenever either of them were horny.
‘I don’t want it to happen again,’ growled Emma as she gripped Evie's hair and pounded into her hard and fast. ‘I much prefer having you all to myself.’ She angled her hips to hit that spot inside of Evie that drove her wild, making the brunette whimper below her. ‘Fuck, baby, you feel so good wrapped around my cock.’ She felt her balls tighten, and she knew she was close again. ‘Rub your clit for me.’
Evie moaned wantonly as she slipped her fingers down between her thighs and made fast, tight circles on her swollen bundle of nerves. Her whole body was tingling with pleasure as Emma fucked into her at a punishing pace while simultaneously pulling her hair and spanking her ass. She felt her cunt clench tightly around Emma’s cock and she cried out as her hand gripped the back of the sofa and she was pushed over the edge of euphoria.
‘I’m Cumming, Emma. Fuck, I’m Cumming so hard,’ screamed Evie as her whole body tensed and then shook violently before she gushed her release all over Emma’s cock and the sofa below her. ‘Fill me up, darling, fill my tight cunt with your cum,’ she panted as her pussy continued to spasm and she rocked her body into Emma’s thrusts.
Emma grunted as she struggled to keep thrusting due to the tightness of Evie’s pussy around her cock. ‘Shit, Evie, you’re so fucking tight.’ She pulled out and pushed back in once more before she shuddered and released her seed deep in Evie’s cunt with a drawn-out groan.
Feeling Emma fill her up successfully pushed Evie into a second smaller but no less mind-blowing orgasm before she collapsed face first into the sofa, dragging Emma with her. She felt soft kisses on the back of her neck and it brought a tear to her eye as a soft smile stretched across her lips. Emma was always so attentive and gentle with her after they fucked and it made her heart ache with sadness that they could never be anything more than what they already were.
Emma waved her hand and disappeared her magic cock and rid them of their clothing before she rolled off Evie and pulled her into her chest. She loved these moments with her and she wished things could be different, but they weren’t and she couldn’t love Evie the way she deserved, especially when half of her heart belonged to someone else.
‘Do you want to sleep here tonight?’ asked Emma softly as she stroked a hand down Evie’s back and pressed kisses to her shoulder. She adored the feel of her soft skin under her lips.
‘Yes, please,’ murmured Evie into Emma’s neck before she pulled back and looked into her eyes. ‘Are you going to send me to the guest room?’ She teased with a smirk. She was confident that she knew what the answer would be but there was no harm in trying.
Evie slept over at least three times a week and only normally one of those was spent in Emma’s bed. She was aware that it was Emma’s way of trying to keep things casual between them, but things had been changing lately.
Emma had been more affectionate, playful and flirty and Evie was trying not to get her hopes up, but she couldn’t help herself. She was almost certain that Emma had feelings for her that went beyond lust, but she was so closed off that it was hard to tell.
Emma sighed. She knew Evie was teasing her, but she also knew deep down that it bothered her and Emma hated herself for hurting her, but she just couldn’t afford to open her heart again, not when things were so complicated.
However, one more night wouldn’t hurt, would it? ‘Not tonight. Tonight, I want you with me,’ she admitted, hating how vulnerable she sounded.
Evie’s breath caught in her throat. Emma would normally roll her eyes and transport her to the guest room. This honest and vulnerable side of her was new, and it made Evie swoon. She leaned forward and pressed their lips together in a soft kiss. ‘Take us to bed,’ she murmured once she pulled back.
