“Morning, Ams! Have anything fun on the schedule today?” Amity heard Luz call as she entered the kitchen. It was sweet and oddly domestic for a first relationship, but she loved it. Ever since her permanent move to the Owl House her and Luz’s relationship had soared even higher. It was going so great that some days she wondered about the future, more specifically their future together and well, it was looking bright. She was optimistic now.
“Not today. With Hexside being on break we don’t...” Her brain seemed to stop working as she stared. Luz was... Luz was wearing her shirt! Why would she—? Her face was rapidly heating up, and spreading the red to the tips of her ears. “What... what are you wearing? Isn’t that my shirt? You—”
This time Luz’s face turned red, and she smiled awkwardly, “Oh, I, uh, well it looked comfortable, and it made me think of hugs and, no wait scratch that! That’s weird, right?” She giggled nervously.
”Luz...” She smiled softly, holding out her hand and relaxing when they laced together, “It’s not weird. Before we were... I kept those drawings you made in the library even now.” Luz smile brightened.
”That’s a relief! Does this mean I can wear the rest of your clothes? They look really nice! I could...”
”Of course, Luz.”
”Yes!”
