I’d burn the world for you, Arthur Pendragon. Turn everything and everyone inside out. All you’d have to do is say the word, and then sit back and watch. Watch as everything went up in flames. Watch as people panicked, and fled, and screamed. Screamed until their throats were too worn and too scratched to continue. Watched as plants, and trees, and flowers turned to ash until all that remained was a barren wasteland with corpses scattered on the ground. The air would smell of death and smoke. But I’d wipe it away in a second so your lungs would remain unharmed. I would take the bones of those I had killed and build you a throne. A throne only you would ever sit on. A throne that was worthy of you and all your glory. And I’d make you a castle so tall and grand that you’d never find the end no matter how much you explored.
And then once all was said and done, I’d ask if you were happy. I’d ask if there was anything more I could do for you. Anything at all. I’d slit my own wrists if that is what you desired. And then I would bow. Bow in front of you. My king, my destiny, my purpose, my love. And I would smile knowing I had fulfilled your wishes. No matter the price. No matter the cost. My life is yours to do with as you please. And I would follow you to the end of the world, I wouldn't care if I had caused the destruction if it was for you. Everything I do is for you. It always will be. I am your humble servant. All I am is yours. I am yours.
And you may never know how far my devotion runs, or how deep my love truly goes. But that’s alright. You don’t need to know. For all that matters is you. My dearest Arthur.
