Six, What the Fuck

Summary:

“Six, what the fuck.”

Six froze, slowly turning to see Seven, who she had not heard enter at all, standing in the kitchen doorway. He was staring out in a mix of shock and disbelief.

Presumably at the peanut butter jar being held up by shadowy tendrils in the middle of the kitchen.

Notes:

I wrote this thing like 3 months ago but I finally decided Fuck It and am posting it

Vivi is RCG btw if you didn't read the tags

Work Text:

“Six, what the fuck.”

Six froze, slowly turning to see Seven, who she had not heard enter at all, standing in the kitchen doorway. He was staring out in a mix of shock and disbelief.

Presumably at the peanut butter jar being held up by shadowy tendrils in the middle of the kitchen.

Six remained frozen like a deer in headlights while Seven continued gawking. “Quick, play dumb!” , Vivi hissed. Six went with the first thing that came to mind.

“Who’s Six?”

The sound of Vivi facepalming echoed in her head.

Seven’s expression shifted into something more unnamused, and he crossed his arms. “What are you doing?”

“Making a sandwich.”, Six replied lamely.

“I mean the peanut butter. ”, Seven bit, gesturing sharply to said object.

“...It’s a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.”

He huffed in frustration. “Six, why is the peanut butter floating?

Six finally straightened from her position, floating the jar the rest of the way to the counter as she explained. “I, uh, got possessed? And now I have powers.” She gave a shrug, which was only met with pure incredulity.

“You got possessed?!

“Only a little.”

Only a little???

“It’s fine.”, she tried to brush off, “We don’t really know how it happened, but we’ve got it figured out.”

“We???”, Seven continued to question, voice growing higher in pitch.

“Oh, uh, yeah. Me and Vivi.”, she explained, “She’s the ghost, who’s kind of stuck with me now and why I have magic.”

Seven was silent for a long minute, continuing to look at her like she was insanity itself. Then he held up a finger. “Excuse me for a second.”, he said, then turned and left the kitchen.

She watched as he went through the living room and trekked up the stairs. She listened to a door click shut and then, after a beat, the muffled sound of screaming rose up.

“...I think he took that well.”, Six spoke aloud. Once again, the sound of facepalming rang out.

"Wow, I can't believe I never noticed how empty your head is."

"Shut up..."

"Echo!"
