18 years ago Mark travelled to the UK for work and ended up having a one night stand with (insert whatever you want to call her) which resulted in her getting pregnant(a daughter),Mark none the wise returned to Seattle and carried on with his life. On the child’s 18th birthday,her mum reveals who her dad is and the child heads to Seattle to track him down(she ends up moving there permanently). When she meets him she’s petrified he’s going to reject her and/or not believe her,he asks for a paternity test which of course comes back as a match. Seeing mark is happy about the result she starts crying,in which mark asks her to come to him and give him a hug,resulting in her breaking down and not wanting to let go…
Basically a story about their growing bond and relationship,including the shooting,plane crash etc but mark lives! I don’t want this to be a romantic relationship fic so you’re more than welcome to mention him and Lexie dating but I want the story to be about the father/daughter relationship!
