Chapter Text
The attack had been quick and brutal. The crew of the small trade ship Arya had borded had stood no chance against the experienced pirates that had caught them. The few crew that had drawn weapons and attempted to fight had been quickly cut down the blood staining the deck and leaving a subtle copper smell in the air. She had even drawn her needle to fight but it was useless the pirates only saw a small girl with a tiny blade that was quickly knocked aside as they laughed at her before she was knocked unconscious. Then she awoke here along with what few members of the crew had also survived. The cell they were in was small with simple metal bars to hold them but no more was needed to hold them. Even if she were to escape she knew it was hopeless they were aboard a ship with at least 10 pirates, although she had never had a chance to see how many had attacked the ship, and they were in the middle of the narrow sea with no one to aid them but fellow prisoners who looked even just as hopeless or more so.
The days went by slowly in that small room with the only view of the outside world through a few small holes in the side of the ship. most days passed with small rations of horrid gruel that was shoved through the bars once a day or twice if her captors were feeling generous. Although she put this down to them simply having forgotten that they had already been fed that day. But those quiet days in the cells with little interruption she soon saw as a blessing when on the third night she was awoken by the sounds of the cell door scraping against the wood as it was yanked open and while still barely awake she was dragged from the cell by her feet by rough hands and she heard a voice speak in a language she didn't understand but the look on his face and the laugh that followed she knew what was about to happen. She shouted and fought as hard as she could in her weakened state but her protests were simply met with fists and kicks that would left her bruised and in more pain than before. She was soon thrown into a room with many men and the strong smell of alcohol in the air. Her simple clothes were quickly ripped from her body and she was thrown onto a table. The first man tried to use her mouth but that he realized quickly was a mistake as her teeth slammed shut around his cock. Although that was swiftly met with several hits to the face although she still felt it was worth it for the cry of pain as the man fell to the floor with blood coming quickly from his groin. After that she was swiftly bound with rope to stop any further struggles although no man again was brave enough to try to use her mouth she was violated several times that night. She barely remembered being thrown back into the cell that night or was in morning now? before swiftly passing out.
She awoke with a simple shift thrown over her body in the morning although she wasn't sure where it had come from she then saw the sorrow filled looks on the fellow prisoners who avoided looking at her and she knew then that they knew what had happened and would likely to continue happening to her on the ship. For the rest of the day she wouldn't speak a word and would only eat a few scraps of food which she reluctantly forced down. And only following the insistence of a 1 of the 3 fellow cell mates Jason who softly spoke "you can survive this". The days continued like this most nights she was left and tried to make herself a small as possible in the corner of her cell hoping to survive by not being noticed, but every few nights she would again be dragged from the cell again. She fought them every time but none of her cell mates ever attempted to help and after the third time she snapped a Jason "why do you care? you don't try to stop them. None of you do you just hide in your corners avoiding looking at me with pity in your eyes" she saw the look in all there eyes she knew if they tried to stop them they would just get hurt and possibly killed for the attempt the only reason the put up with her fighting was because she was the only female prisoner aboard. They had been a few other ships that had been attacked while they were sailing as a few more of the other 6 cells now had a few prisoners. She guessed they must have been at most the 4th ship attached as there was only 3 cells full other than there when she had awoken on the first day in the cell and she recognized none of other prisoners from the small trading ship she had been aboard.
She wasn't sure how many long it had been when the final cell had been filled with prisoners was it days, weeks or even month? Arya wasn't sure anymore and she didn't care enough to ask. She figured it was at least another week after the last cell that they finally stopped at port. She wasn't sure where they were although she was she wasn't in Westeros any more. Her hands were bound in chains and she was dragged from the ship along with the others that had been taken. They were marched swiftly from the ship where she learned what was to be her future as every where along the docks there were people in chains with collars locked around their necks most with a hopeless look in their eyes and whip marks across their bodies. She was to be a slave the she wanted to fight but there was little she could do with her arms and legs bound and attached the man in front of her and the man behind. From there they were led to what appeared to be a market place with many stalls set up but the main attraction was a large stone stage in the center where slaves were being auctioned off by a large man who had two young slaves one small boy and the other a small girl fanning him. She was disgusted and fearful was this to be her fate? To be sold and traded like a thing? But she had made herself a promise years ago that she would survive and fight while there were still names on her list. Until they were all dead she would survive and fight no matter what it took she would make it home to avenge her family and quietly under her breath she muttered the names "Gregor Clegane, Dunsen, Polliver, Chiswyck, Raff the Sweetling, the Tickler, Sandor Clegane, Amory Lorch, Ilyn Payne, Meryn Trant, Joffrey Baratheon, Cersei Lannister, Valar Morghulis". It was hours latter when she detached from the other prisoners and dragged up on to the stage all the other from the her ship had already been sold off to various people Jason had looked desperate when he was being dragged up and when he was detached had attempted to run. He was a fool and was quickly cut down by the silent guards left to hold them. They were strange soliders none ever spoke all wore identical grey armor with a spear and shield. As she was dragged to the stage she was placed upon the a platform in the center and the small shift she had to cover herself was taken from her body leaving her bare before the crowd with the exception of the chains on the wrists and ankles. She had seen that she stood out and had received many odd looks when she was being walked through the streets to the stage she decieded they must not seen many northerns here as the majority of people had a dark complection she knew to be more common with those from the south and especially Drone although she was sure she was somewhere in Essos or possibly as island as what little she had seen from the cell had shown that there was water still in every direction other than the port when they had arrived. Due to her standing out she supposed her sale took longer than most although she had no idea what she had been sold for having no understanding of the language that was spoken. After the bidding had ended and coin was exchanged a collar was swiftly locked around her neck and she was taken to a cell along with a few other young girls with another of the silent guards standing outside.
