INT ASH ANSWERS HIS PHONE WHILE IN THE SAME LOCATION FROM “ASH VS FLINT: FLAMING FIGHTING SPIRT” ASH CLICKS ON A VIDEO MESSAGE FROM NONE OTHER THAN THE CONTEST MASTER WALLACE.
WALLACE
Hello young Ash.
ASH
Woah. Who are you again?
Goh and Flint recoil back dumfounded at Ash who is unable to Recognize the illustrious contest master and former Hoenn Champion Wallace.
GOH
Are you serious? You fought him before, he’s a former Hoenn Champion!
FLINT
He founded the Wallace Cup!
ASH
Nope doesn't ring a bell.
WALLACE
How rude! You don’t remember me? Your friends took first and second place in the Wallace Cup.
ASH
Oh yeah, May and Dawn told me all about you.
WALLACE
Well, you’ll remember me after our battle. It will be tomorrow at the Ever Grande stadium. I’ll see you there young Ash.
The video call abruptly ends. Ash with an excited look on his face puts his phone in his pocket.
ASH
Alright I am gonna get to beat Wallace!
FLINT
Don’t give your hopes up, Wallace is a champion level battler. His team is full of strong water types.
GOH
Yeah, not to mention he’s also the top rated Coordinator in the world, meaning his battling style will be inventive and unpredictable.
ASH
I don’t care, lets page a flying taxi and get to Zootopolis city!
PIKACHU

INT ASH AND GOH FLYING ABOVE THE CLOUDS IN A FLYING TAXI.
GOH
Ash I really think you should consider strategizing for this one. Pokemon Coordinators use a-lot of inventive tactics and combinations during there battles. You’ve got some Coordinator friends like Dawn right? So you must at least have some idea of how to make a strategy on this.
ASH
Uh...
Goh looks on in anticipation as Ash looks deep in thought only for them to hear a loud groaning implicating Ash is hungry causing Goh to recoil at the idiocy of the moment.
GOH
Ahh.
ASH
Maybe some lunch will help me cook up a strategy.
INT ASH AND GOH WALK INTO EVERGRANDE CITY. ASH LOOKS AROUND NOSTALGICALLY.
ASH
This sure brings back memories doesn't it Pikachu? When we competed in the Hoenn League.

Hey that place looks nice, lets eat there.
Ash and Goh walk to a restaurant and as they talk to a hostess the camera pans to a young lady's hand tapping its fingers on the table impatiently.
UNKNOWN YET FAMILIAR FEMALE VOICE
Uh, if my order doesn't get here soon I am gonna be as flaming as a fire type.
As Ash and go sit down Pikachu looks over to the unknown girl and grows elated.
PIKACHU

Pikachu jumps off the table and runs toward the girl as Ash and Goh look on in shock.
ASH
Pikachu where you going?
Pikachu runs and jumps into the arms of the mystery girl who is shocked.
MYSTERY GIRL
Ahh!
Camera rises upward to reveal the mystery girls full appearance, a familiar young lady wearing a red top and a red bandana wrapped around the bottom of her head with the ties resembling a pair of bunny ears. Its none other than May who grows elated at seeing Pikachu.
MAY
Pikachu? Hey there cutie!
Pikachu nuzzles may affectionately as Ash and Goh walk towards May’s booth in the restaurant.
ASH
May?
MAY
Ash! Its so good to see you.
GOH
You two know each-other?
ASH
Yeah, she traveled with me during my Hoenn journey.
INT MAY,ASH AND GOH SIT AND DINE AT THE TABLE WHILST PIKACHU EATS A BOWL OF POKEMON FOOD.
MAY
So Ash what are you doing back in Hoenn?
ASH
I am here to battle Wallace at Ever grande stadium.
MAY
Really Wallace? Can I watch you too, maybe I can learn something from how he battles for my contests.
GOH
Wait your a coordinator.
ASH
Yeah. The people here call her the Princess of Hoenn.
GOH
Woah.
MAY
Yup.
GOH
Ash this is perfect.
MAY
Why would you say that?
GOH
Ash don’t you see, May is a world class Pokemon coordinator, and if she traveled with you that must mean she has experience with battles too. Battling her could be the perfect preparation for your match with Wallace.
ASH
Oh yeah your right. Hey May wanna have a battle?
MAY
No way, not until we get dessert. The chocolate Soulful here is stupendous.
Goh and Ash smile awkwardly as they know soufflés typically take a long time to prepare.
INT MAY AND ASH STANDING ACROSS FROM EACH-OTHER IN AN OPEN FIELD OUTSIDE EVERGRANDE STADIUM AS GOH AND PIKACHU WATCH FROM THE SIDELINES.
MAY
Blaziken stage on!
May hurls a poke-ball and her Blaziken pops out of the poke-ball.
BLAZIKEN
Blaziken!
ASH
Lucario I choose you!
Ash throws a poke-ball and Lucario appears.
LUCARIO
Raughghg.
MAY
Alright Blaziken showtime!
May raises her arm which is revealed to have a stylized mega ring with keystone in it.
ASH
A keystone?
May touches the stone lightly with her fingers as streams of energy emanate from it.
MAY
Mega Evolve!
Streams of energy emanate from a Mega Stone in front of Blaziken which connect to the identical streams emanating from the keystone. Blaziken is shrouded in light and morphs. Blaziken Emerges from the light in its mega form.
BLAZIKEN
Blaziken!
May puts her hands on her hips and looks to Ash somewhat teasingly as he stares on in aw. Ash’s look then turns to one of determining and admiration.
ASH
Well Lucario, there going all out. So we might as well do the same.
Ash raises his Keystone high up to the sky as energy streams emanate from it and the Lucarionite floating in front of Lucario.
ASH
Mega evolve!
The energy streams unite and Lucario glows and morphs. The light fades revealing Lucario in its mega form.
ASH
Lucario Aura Sphere.
A massive ball of blue energy forms in Lucario's hands which it hurls at Blaziken.
MAY
Detect!
Blaziken’s eyes glow and it swiftly evades the Aura Sphere.
ASH
Use Bone Rush!
Two bone energy weapons from in Lucario hands and it lunges at Blaziken and swings the bones repeatedly as Blaziken swiftly evades every swing as Ash looks on in confusion and shock as Blaziken recoils gracefully away.
GOH
Whats going on?
Goh looks to his Rotom phone.
GOH’S POKÉDEX
Blaziken's ability is called speed boost which increases its speed over time.
MAY
This is how the princess of Hoenn battles, with grace and gravitas. Now Blaziken, Blaze Kick!
Blaziken’s foot becomes engulfed in fire scorching and fragmenting the ground it stands on. It leaps toward Lucario and launches a flurry of kicks which grow increasingly Harder for Lucario to Avoid until Blaziken decks it with a super effective flaming foot to the jaw. Lucario is sent tumbling back as it struggles to get to its feet.
ASH
Lucario Don’t give up!
Lucario gets up and stares down its opponent: Blaziken who stares right back at it.
ASH
Use Aura Sphere!
A giant bleu energy sphere forms in-between Lucario’s hands which it hurls at Blaziken.
MAY
Dodge it!
Blaziken swiftly dodges the aura sphere which to it and mays surprise seems to follow Blaziken like a heat seeking missile which explodes and sends Blaziken reeling.
MAY
What the? How did it hit Blaziken, it was so fast?
GOH
Of course, Aura Sphere never misses.
MAY (INNER MONOLOGUE)
Nuts, if only I used detect instead.
MAY
Blaze Kick!
Blaziken's feet are set ablaze and it jets toward Lucario.
ASH
Use Close Combat!
Lucario counters Blaziken’s flurry of flaming kicks with a barrage of punches. The swift and strong attacks from these two Pokemon send massive gusts of wind flying from the points of impact with every blow. Lucario then pelts Blaziken with a barrage of punches sending Blaziken flying back as it digs its talon like feet into the ground and skids to a halt.
MAY
Use Overheat!
Blaziken reels its head back before shooting a massive spiraling stream of fire from its mouth at Lucario.
ASH
Use Aura Sphere!
A Massive ball of blue energy forms in between Lucario's hands which it tosses at the stream of fire and the attacks collide in a burst of fire and blue light.
MAY AND ASH
Use Reversal!
Lucario and Blaziken grip there fists with Blaziken’s being enfulfed in orange energy as Lucario’s fist is engulfed in blue light.
GOH
They both called the same move? Woah.
Blaziken and Lucario jump towards as they reel there fists back with light trailing behind it. Both Pokemon thrust there fists overflowing with power forth and they collide as orange and blue energy crackles though the atmosphere, the shockwaves practically shatters the earth beneath them sending shockwaves forth that sends Goh reeling. Both Blaziken and Lucario collapse and revert to there normal forms as they lie unconscious on the ground. Everyone there looks on in disbelief.
GOH
I don’t believe it, its a tie
Ash and May recall there Pokemon into there Pokeballs before looking down to them with an encouraging smile.
ASH
Good job Lucario.
MAY
Your performance was amazing Blaziken, good job.
Ash and May put there Pokeballs in there pockets before looking to eachother with nostalgic and tender smiles on there faces.
ASH
Hey, this reminds me of our last battle.
MAY
Yeah, at that Pokemon Contest, we tied there too. Makes me feel kind of nostalgic.
Goh walks to Ash.
GOH
So Ash do you think you got the nessesary experience to beat Wallace now?
ASH
Yeah, definitely. And its all thanks to you May.
May blushes slightly.
MAY
Ahh don’t mention it.
Ash looks to evergrande stadium and sees the image of Wallace over the stadium. Ash was determined to defeat Wallace and grips his fist with the Keystone on it. Knowing his bond with his Pokemon would get him threw it.
