Levi used to hate physical contact, the last time someone touched him with love and kindness was when he was just a kid. His mama loved him more than anything, she used to say so, but she passed away and Levi was left with Kenny and Kenny didn't give shit about him so no, Levi wasn't used to physical contact.
Until he was brought to the surface, until he became a soldier, until he fell in love with him.
It wasn't difficult for him to fall in love with Erwin, most of the people thought he was some kind of machine, a heartless man and they treated him like that and Levi was fine, he was used to being treated that way.
But Erwin, Erwin showed him he was worthy of love.
Erwin taught him how to read and write with patience, love and kindness and when he could finally write his own name Erwin didn't shut up for a week, he was proud and he never let him feel bad about anything.
And Erwin touched him a lot; gentle, lovely, soft touches in his arms, his lower back, his hands, his cheeks.
And he absolutely adored it.
Levi loved the way Erwin's body wrapped him completely, how his big arms held his body.He never said a word, he was too embarrassed to ask for anything but Erwin was really a touchy person so he held him a lot.
Erwin would stare at him after hugging him for a while, his hands would cupped his cheeks, his thumb would caress his cheekbone and he would kiss him very softly and Levi would just melt.
That's how he ended up loving physical contact, but just from the blond, gorgeous man he loved so much.
So now that said man had left for an important meeting in the Capital, Levi had started to recent his absence.
It had been three days, three long days without a hug, a caress, a kiss and Levi was getting very upset.
Who would have thought?
“Oi, four eyes.” He shouted to Hange. “Have you heard anything?”
“About what?” Hange raised an eyebrow.
“When is Erwin coming back?”
“Soon.” They replied with a smile.
“Tsk, you said that two days ago it's been a week.” Levi rolled his eyes.
They were training, Eren was having a mental breakdown again so everyone was just having a moment to relax.
“Aw, you miss him.”
“Fuck off.” Levi snorted regretting that time he couldn't wait for a kiss and Hange walked into the office caughting them in the middle of their kiss.
“You'll be first to know, don't worry Levi.” They winked at him and Levi took a deep breath.
“Eren, stop crying or I'll give you a real reason to do so.” Levi pointed at the kid. “I'm leaving, Hange, deal with this.”
“Ya heard dummy? You just annoyed Captain Levi to death so he is leaving.” Levi heard Jean while he walked away and nodded in agreement. True.
He liked Erwin's office, he spended a lot of time there because Erwin was a workaholic. The first time he heard that word was from Hange and when they explained the meaning Levi thought the word was just made for Erwin. Now he just sat there by the fire drinking tea and wondering why Erwin was taking so long to come back so there was where he was headed off.
“Levi!”
Levi stopped and turned to face him, he felt the smile on his face and how his heart began to beat faster.
“Erwin.”
“Hello Captain, I was about to look for you.” Erwin smiled and Levi stared at him with adoration, those blue eyes were shining and he had the prettiest smile of all.
“You were?”
“Yes.” Erwin took his hand caressing his knuckles. “Are you done training?”
“I am.” Actually I dismissed myself cause Eren was getting under my nerves. He didn't say it, Erwin would lecture him and he just wanted to kiss him all the days he was gone.
“Great, come with me, I have something for you.” Erwin took him by the hand until they were inside the Commander’s office.
Levi locked the door, he had learnt his lesson.
“Why do you have something for me? It's not my birthday.”
“I know it's not your birthday.” Erwin hid whatever he got behind him with a goofy smile. “It doesn't have to be your birthday for me to give you something.”
Levi frowned.
“Why?” He asked slowly.
Erwin laughed and got closer.
“Because I love you.” They were standing in front of each other, Levi was looking at him and Erwin stared back, the height difference was just not fair, Levi thought not for the first time. Erwin handed him a box. “It's tea.” He said while Levi opened the box.
“Tea?”
“Yes, everyone in the Capital was saying it was great and I thought you would like to try it”
Levi held the box to his chest, the familiar warm feeling spreading to his body and his flush cheeks didn't bother him anymore.
Oh, how much he loved that man.
“Thank you.” He whispered.
“Should we try it?” Erwin reached for his blush cheek and gave him a soft caress.
Levi swallowed trying to find courage to ask him for what he wanted, for what he waited for a week.
“Is something wrong? You don't like it? I heard it was pretty good.” Erwin asked, worried.
“Canyougivemeahug?”
Erwin frowned.
“What?”
“Nevermind.”
“No, we are not doing that again.” Erwin took the box out of his hands and cupped his cheeks. “Tell me Levi, but please don't mumble.”
“Fuck you, I’m not a child.”
“Just like that, good job.” He joked and Levi kicked him softly, making him laugh. “Oh love, how much I've missed you.” And he hugged him, wrapping him with his arms and pushing him close to him.
Levi hugged him back, his arms wrapped his back tightly, his nose buried in his chest and he breathed his scent.
“I've missed you too.”
“Have you?” Erwin asked, kissing his head. “I'm glad it's mutual.”
“This is what I wanted.” Levi was red when he looked at him.
“You don't have to ask for a hug.” He kissed him, just a tiny kiss. “You don't have to ask for anything.”
“It's embarrassing.”
“It’s not.” He kissed him again. “How can it be embarrassing when it feels so good?”
“Ugh you always know what to say, don't you? Smartass.”
Erwin hugged him back.
Levi walked into the office without knocking because he didn’t care, Mike gave him a very angry look for the interrumption but Levi didn’t give a fuck about anyone.
Except Erwin, obviously.
“Get the fuck outta here Mike.”
“No, you can't do that, you can't kick me out of this office every damn time you get here.” Mike crossed his arms refusing to leave.
“Fuck. Off.”
“You can't talk to me like that either! I'm your superior.”
“You wish.” Levi mocked.
Erwin watched the exchange of cursed words in silence until Mike had enough.
“You're not gonna say anything?”
“Can you give us a moment?” Erwin smiled politely.
“Unbelievable, fucking unbelievable.”
“Cry me a river.” Levi practically pushed him outside and locked the door. “What a nice man.”
“Levi.” Erwin repressed him with a soft smile. “What is it sweetheart?”
“Eren is getting under my skin again, I can't do that shit, he is too young for that fuking responsability and he just yells and it's too exhausting.” Levi ended up on Erwins lap, the blond man caressed his back with one hand while the other was stroking his hair. “It's too late to send him to the military police?”
“It is, yes.” Erwin grabbed his chin. “You are humanity's strongest, you can deal with him, you can deal with everything.”
“I don't want to.” Levis gaze felt on Erwin’s lips.
“If you want a kiss, just kiss me.”
“But…”
“Or you can ask me, very politely.” Erwin brushed his lips with his own. “You can be a good boy and ask for what you want, can't you?”
Levi swallowed hard. Motherfucker.
“Go, you have work to do, we'll talk later, pretty boy.” Erwin gently helped him to stand up before yelling. “Mike, you can stop snooping, we are done.”
Great, now MIke knew too. Levi rolled his eyes.
Mike entered the room with a cocky smile.
“That explains everything, you're Erwin’s bitch.”
And before Levi could kick the shit out of him he was being pulled into Erwin’s lap again, he felt his arms hugging his waist.
“Apologize.” Erwin said in a lower voice, his jaw clenching.
“What?”
“Apologize Mike, now.”
Levi was breathing very fast, the anger suddenly vanished because Erwin's authority tone was really hot.
“Sorry.” Mike said in an awkward tone.
Levi kissed his teeth without saying a word.
“Go Levi, we all have work to do.” Erwin gave him a tiny kiss on the lips.
“Good night Levi, did you enjoy dinner?”
“No.” He scrunched his nose. “It's messy again, I'm cleaning.”
“You are not, it's almost midnight.” Erwin raised an eyebrow. “Did you handle Eren’s tantrum?”
“I did.” Levi waited a couple of seconds before talking. “I want you to fuck me.” He could still hear his tone when he spoke to Mike, it was such a turn on.
Erwin dropped the pen and stared at him.
“Now?”
“No, fucking yesterday.” Levi hissed. “Yes, now.”
“How can you ask me to fuck you with such calm but you rather die than ask for a kiss?”
“If you don't want to, fine, I'm leaving.” And he closed the door. He counted three seconds before having Erwin carrying him to his room.
“So you're not hiding anymore uh?”
“What?” Levi stopped walking to face Hange.
“You have hickeys.”
“Staring much?” Levi fixed his collar with a blush, Hange bursted into a laugh.
“Erwin.”
“Yes, dear?” Erwin was reading.
Levi was drinking the last cup of the tea Erwin brough for him and had become his favorite.
Erwin stopped his reading and looked at Levi with kind eyes.
“Give me a kiss.”
Levi spoke so softly that Erwin barely heard him, but he did. He closed his book and got closer, those gray eyes stared back at him with such intensity that made him nervous but he cupped his cheeks and kissed him.
