It was a Saturday morning. Yuu had just woke up and made their way downstairs to prepare breakfast for themself and their ravenous roommate. Yuu was not in the mood to deal with a hangry Grim first thing in the morning.
As they finished plating some scrambled eggs and pancakes, they were interrupted by a familiar knocking from the front door. Yuu groaned. Knowing that either it was good news, or something that was going to be a big pain. Usually it was the later.
Yuu straightened up their t-shirt and plastered a polite smile on their face before opening the front door.
"Good morning Headmage, what can I do for you?"
"Ahh good morning Prefect!" The raven hair man spoke, his bright yellow eyes glowing from behind the beaked mask he wore upon his face. "It is wonderful to see you bright eyed this fine morning. I have come in regards to a matter that I am in need of your assistance."
Yuu fought back the urge to groan. Yep. It was going to be the later.
"Is it an emergency?"
"Thankfully not, though I would deem it to be at least an... Urgent matter that I will need you to come with me at the utmost opportunity."
"Alright, let me get Grim up and fed first Sir, I'd rather not have him set anything on fire because he didn't get his pancakes and eggs."
"Yes of course, I will be so very kind and allow you to attend to Grim first."
Kind my butt thought Yuu as they turned away to go wake up Grim.
After Yuu had woke up Grim. The cat monster had not been very thrilled to be awoken for his peaceful slumber, but he forgave Yuu when he was sat down in front of a stack of fresh pancakes, eggs, bacon, and a heavy helping of syrup on top. Yuu told the ghosts to keep an eye on Grim and bid the cat monster a farewell(Grim was grateful that Crowley had been oh so generous to only need one of them and not the both.)
They quickly made their way to the main NRC school building(Crowley may have used some type of haste spell, who knows) and finally arrived at his office. The Headmage opens the door.
There's a lot of things Yuu had seen since they arrived at NRC. Magic. Beastman. Mermen. A heck of a lot of boys needing therapy(okay maybe they saw that in their previous world as well) one thing they did not expect to see was the equivalent of a kindergarten class inside the Headmage's office.
There were also some of their fellow students. Cater, Epel, Floyd, Ortho, Jack, Sebek, and Silver. Each one were either holding or surrounding by the kids. Yuu was more then a bit confused. The last time there had been so many kids on campus was during the week of Halloween and Yuu didn't remember there being any kind of event currently happening at the school.
Yuu's thoughts were interrupted as one of the kids ran over and hugged their leg.
"Yay! Yuu's here! You've come to play too right?" It was a young boy with white hair and big red eyes wearing a large smile. Yuu was a bit confused how the kid knew their name. A darker haired boy walked up behind him.
"Come on Kalim, you can't just run up and grab people like that."
Yuu's eyes widen. Did he say Kalim? Yuu looked back at the darker haired boy. He looked very familiar and when Yuu noticed the grey eyes staring at them.
"Jamil?"
Kalim let go of Yuu's leg and went over to hug onto the other boy. "Yep! It's Jamil! You guessed it!" Jamil gave a tiny groan at being grabbed by Kalim suddenly.
Yuu looked from the small duo to the rest of the kids and group present and a sense of dread starting setting in. Every kid looked VERY familiar and.....
"Umm... Where are all the Housewardens and Vice Housewardens?"
"You're looking at em Shrimpy." Floyd laughed.
"Wait.... What?"
