Grian had seen a lot of strange things in his time on the Hermitcraft server, he was no stranger to mischief, hijinks, or shenanigans.
There are still some things that can bewilder even him, though.
He came to this realisation one afternoon, whilst visiting his basement.
Grian was originally planning to check if anything had changed with the strange rift that had appeared in his base recently, but apparently, he wasn't the only curious one.
He didn't think much of it when he noticed False as he flew down into the cavern.
Steering to land beside her, he called out, "Hey False, what are you upto today?"
Grian was a little more confused when his friend jumped out of her skin – she was the one in his basement.
He squinted, then began to slow down, because apparently, he was getting double vision.
"Grian! What... are you doing here?" False asked, trying and failing to hide the fact she was holding... False.
Grian was momentarily speechless, but eventually replied, "I... live here?"
He stared for a few more moments, glancing between the False standing in front of him and the seemingly unconscious False in her arms.
"False, why are you–"
"Okay, look, I need a favour. No questions asked."
"Who is–"
"No questions."
"I have literally never had more questions than I do at this very moment."
"I just need to use your rift for like two minutes and then I'll be out of your hair?"
Grian thought for a second, before smiling innocently, "How much are you willing to pay?"
"...to use the portal?"
"And to keep a secret."
False didn't respond for a few seconds, seemingly thinking it over.
The false False stirred for a moment, and False immediately decided, "A full shulker of copper."
Grian tilted his head, taking the time to ponder and enjoying False's wide eyes as she glanced between him and False.
"Grian."
"Ingots or blocks?"
"Blocks."
"Do I get to keep the shulker?"
" Yes , please just–"
"Okay, okay go... dispose of your own body."
She didn't hesitate to walk over to the portal and send the other False through, letting out a heavy sigh as she disappeared.
False turned back to Grian, visibly calmer, but narrowed her eyes, "You saw nothing, okay?"
His eyes settled on her hand, resting on the hilt of her sword.
"I don't know what you're talking about, you were never here."
She nodded, and with a rocket, she was gone.
Grian watched her fly away, then glanced back over to the rift.
"...you learn something new every day."
