CHAPTER 1
A normal day in a normal neighborhood. The roosters roasted each other as they bet who's the loudest one of them all, competing to see who can awaken more people in just an hour. But in this household where the story will unfold, the father of the house has woken up as early as 4 o'clock.
After washing his face, Seungcheol started his day by preparing his husband's breakfast and lunchbox. Aside from this, he was also setting up a warm bath for his two children.
"Jihoonnie, gising na~" He chirped as he waltzed towards their bedroom. His husband frowned and quickly covered his face with a pillow to avoid the sun's light flashing towards him.
"Noooo!" Jihoon whined, hugging the pillow closely to his face.
Seungcheol chuckled at the sight of his husband refusing to get off their bed. He would really prefer for him to stay at home and spend some extra time with him, but he knew how important Jihoon's job was as well.
"Mama! Papa!" Jihoon whined even more when he heard their little kids' voices running to their room.
"Mama! Wake up! Papasok na!" Chaewon, the eldest of the twins, shouted as she climbed up the bed.
Seungcheol immediately helped his daughter, too worried that she might fall down.
"Papa. Big girl na si Chaewon. 'Di mo na siya need help," Chanwoo, the youngest of the twins, said as he stood beside his papa.
"I know, anak. But hindi niya kasi abot ang bed, so I still need to help her a little," Seungcheol explained then gave his little son a gentle pat on the head.
His attention soon turned to Jihoon when he heard a slapping sound. It was Chaewon, slapping her mama's cheek to wake him up.
"Chaewon, anak. What did I tell you about hitting others' faces?" Seungcheol pursed his lips as he went beside Chaewon and Jihoon.
"Sorry, papa," Chaewon muttered with a pout then she kissed her mama's cheek, the spot where she hit him.
"Ang cute cute ng mga anak ko talaga," Jihoon mumbled as he slowly pushed himself up to sit. He was still half asleep when he turned to his husband, lips puckered as he silently asked him for a kiss.
Seungcheol chuckled at his cuteness and leaned down, but before he could kiss him, Chaewon immediately went between their faces, getting their kisses to both her cheeks. "Kiss! Kiss!" She chanted as she giggled.
"Nangunguha ng kiss ang baby girl namin ah!" Jihoon laughed softly as he hugged Chaewon.
"Ako rin. Kiss." They turned their heads to little Chanwoo who was pouting at the side of the bed.
"Tatampo agad ang big boy oh," Seungcheol said as he scooped him up. "Kiss ka ni papa ng marami," he added as he peppered his small cheek with light kisses, making Chanwoo laugh in glee.

"May naiwan ka pa ba?" Seungcheol asked as he watched Jihoon wear his jacket. Jihoon took one last look of his reflection on the full-body mirror in their room before he grabbed his bag and went to his husband.
"Naiwan ko baon ko," he said as he walked closer to him. Seungcheol was a bit confused as he remembered that he was the one to put his lunchbox in his bag.
"Nilagay—" His words were cut off when Jihoon reached for his face and kissed him on the lips. He blushed. "Ah," he mumbled as he figured out what he meant.
Jihoon chuckled at his husband's reaction. "I'll be home late kasi may dinner party kami mamaya. I'll let you know kapag magpapasundo ako."
Seungcheol leaned closer to him to kiss his lips back. "Susunduin kita kahit hindi mo sabihin. Baka maparami inom mo mamaya e," he said, grumbling at him.
"Fine, fine. I'll message you," Jihoon said as he went to the door.
"I-update mo 'ko, mahal!" Seungcheol reminded him with a pout and he wasn't sure if Jihoon had heard him since he was already outside when he said that.
"Papa! Why shout?" Chaewon wondered as she left her room.
Seungcheol's sulkiness melted a bit when he saw the twins wearing their cute pre-school uniform.
"Makulit kasi mama mo," he answered, then held Chaewon's little hand, leading her to the dining area where Chanwoo was waiting. "Eat na tayo. Hindi tayo pwedeng malate dahil first day ninyo sa school."
