Chapter Text
Peter is a ten year old little boy from Queens, New York City. His parents had passed away in a plane crash when he was six but he now lives with his uncle Ben and aunt May who he's happy with. It took awhile to accept the fact that it was his new home but now he sees it as his home.
His aunt and uncle has always been so nice to him. They do everything they can to make him happy despite not being rich. This year, Tony Stark is having a Stark Expo and Peter really wanted to go. Every time the man is on screen, he immediately goes to watch.
Sometimes his aunt or uncle would turn it off which he never understands. The man is so smart and Peter wants to be just as smart. Someday, he wants to work at Stark Industries.
He's already smart for a ten year old. He knows middle school level already and is so close to knowing highschool level. His aunt and uncle has brought him books and he's been learning new things during his free time.
Sometimes his uncle would even come home with random things that he had allowed Peter to build. Peter always found it so fun and loved building out of random things. They had even brought him a Lego set which he now loves!
Right now, Peter had gotten separated from his aunt and uncle as drones are attacking the expo. Peter was determined to help out. He's wearing his plastic Iron Man faceplate and his Iron Man glove with a glowing circle in the middle.
A robot stops right in front of him, aiming something towards him. Peter isn't scared though, he's determined to take the robot down. He aims his little hand up to the massive robot when a blast comes out of his glove. He stares admirably at his work when a familiar voice speaks up. One that he's heard a dozen times on tv.
"Nice work kid!" Iron Man congratulates before flying away.
Peter looks up at Iron Man staring with amazement in his eyes. He couldn't believe that Iron Man had saw his good work in helping out! Peter felt amazed when another voice speaks up from behind him.
"Hey kid, are you ok?" A man asks.
Peter spins around to see a man wearing all black with long dark hair. He has a metal arm which Peters eyes goes wide at. The man gently picks him up with his arm but Peter doesn't fight.
"Are you working with Mr. Stark? Did he give you that arm?" Peter asks.
The man doesn't say anything, just staring at Peter with concern in his eyes.
"Where are your parents?" The man wonders.
"They're gone. I live with my aunt and uncle but I ran away to help! Mr. Stark saw me take down the robot! Your arm is really cool mister! My name is Peter!" Peter claims.
"PETER!!" Two voices in the distant starts to shout.
"Looks like your aunt and uncle are worried about you. You should head back to them" the man tells him as he lowers Peter to the ground.
Peter turns around to see his aunt and uncle running towards him but as he turns back to the man with the metal arm, he had already disappeared.
"Peter! You can't do that to us!" Aunt May sighs.
"We were worried sick buddy!" Uncle Ben informs.
"I'm sorry but I took down a robot! Mr. Stark congratulated me and said 'nice work kid!' and I saw a man with a metal arm! It was so cool! He was trying to help me find you guys!" Peter explains.
"Oh my god" Aunt May mutters under her breath.
"Good job bud but don't run off again, ok?" Uncle Ben states.
"Ok!" Peter easily agrees.
