Chapter Text
A/N: Canon heights for the characters except for you
Ao'nung '8"5 Tsireya '7"2 Tuk '5"7
Tonowari '9"7 Ronal '8"7 Kiri '7"7
Jake Sully '8"11 Lo'ak '7"7 Quaritch '9"5
Neytiri '8"7 Neteyam '8"5 **Y/N '8"2
P.S. I am making Y/N here a little thicker, not slim and sleek like most Na'vi. I like the idea of a Y/N that has more meat on her thighs and stomach, strong and thick.
Also, for those who don't know, in Avatar 2, when Tonowari was teaching Jake how to ride a Tsurak, there was a man who looks exactly like an older Aonung with a bun next to him laughing. Yes, I'm putting that side character in here his name will be Ranari, will be Ronal's brother and he is '9"3

Leaving the Omaticaya clan again was a little problematic, especially after everything you went through with Jake and his new family. You still didn't have a mate even though you watched Jake's and Neytiri's family thrive. Lo'ak and Neteyam trusted you with everything, Kiri talked to you about girl stuff that she wouldn't do or say with her mom, and when Tuk was born that's when everything changed. Feelings that you had buried when they got together and were so happy. Strong feelings that you had for both of them resurfaced. You were drowning under it all. You would continue to act the way you always did from cooking to hunting to cleaning, braiding everyone's hair, but, with a level of intimacy that made you hyper-aware. When you woke up in between Neytiri and Jake with the kids around you that's when you decided to leave. It was too much for your heart to take and the devastated looks you received when you said you were going on a journey almost made you regret it but, you did it under the guise of wanting to explore. They almost didn't let you but, with a little convincing and hugs and promises they sent you on your way.
Hence, you ended up with the Metkayina the same day you went exploring. That was your original goal, to travel for a week or two this time to clear your head and come back but, Eywa had other plans. You found water, got swept up in a current, and ended up on a very friendly Ilu who took you to Awa'atlu where the Metkayina Clan resided. They were free-diving Na'vi of the coral reefs. You have spent time in the past with the Ta'unui clan who were really nice even though they were apprehensive at first but, your presence grew on them. You would always be seen with the kids or the women weaving and doing jewelry. You went on a couple of hunts with the warriors as well. Ronal the Tsahik of the Metkayina was going to send you on your way or kill you whichever but, her daughter Tsireya took pity, and when you told him that you're from the Omaticaya clan and family of Toruk Makto they offered you uturu here. That was a month ago and you found yourself incorporating it into their life well. Ao'nung even warmed up and caught himself talking to you whenever he can ignoring how his friends teased him.
"Y/N, you want to try something with us together?" You turned to see Ao'nung and Tsireya were on a really big ilu.
"Of course, that's a really big ilu." You swam towards them getting hiked up in between them. You were amazed that all three of you were on the Ilu and she wasn't complaining or thrown you guys off yet.
"Hold on tight." That was the only warning you got as Ao'nung wrapped his arms around you, and your arms around Tsireya before taking off. Twists and turns left right up and down had you dizzy with adrenaline and excitement. By the time you surfaced, you were a giggling mess right along with the two children. The three of you were unaware of the Tsahik and Olo'eyktan were watching the three of you giggle away.
"Tsireya is not a surprise." Ronal was talking to Tonowari about you. You had demon blood but, yet you didn't even act like one. You spoke, talked, and walked like a Na'vi. To be honest you didn't even have an accent, if you never showed your hand she would not have known. You were brutally honest about being a sky person and willing to learn and prove your usefulness. That was one of the reasons she allowed you to stay because you never lied and she hates liars and being called one.
"Our son is. He was so hostile and now look at them." That was the most they had ever seen Ao'nung smile with anyone. It intrigued both of them to have many discussions involving you and wanting to keep you close to them. It was weird. New. Exciting for them. They caught themselves invading your space. Ronal was one of the shorter Na'vi and you were even shorter than her. She loved the height difference between the two of you. The older couple continued watching you with curious looks. Back to the three of you, you guys just finished spinning again.
"Okay, okay, we need to start teaching you for real now." Aonung and Tsireya got off the Ilu who was glad for less weight. They started instructing you on deep diving and breathing exercises. You listened carefully, before taking a dive moving fast underwater. For reasons unknown to you, you're Ilu took a leap out of the water sending you flying off of it. You were disoriented immensely not being able to tell up from down until you were grabbed by the arm and yanked up. You coughed turning to who saved you.
"Thank you. I don't know what I did." You looked up at Ranari who was laughing freely. You gave him an annoyed look making him laugh harder.
"Come on skxqwng. Get back on the ilu." He cooed and clicked calling an ilu and placing you back on it by the waist. "Do not squeeze your thighs so hard, this is not an Ikran." He squeezed your thighs unaware of the burning glares he was receiving. "They are too tight, loosen them." He left his hands on your thighs feeling you untighten them. "Good, now connect your Tsaheylu with her." You did that, leaning forward as he pushed your back down with a hand on your stomach. "This needs to be strong and back straight." You followed his instructions watching as he grabbed your hands to hold on. "You have to feel the water. Now go." He moved back watching you as you sped off, dived, resurfaced, and turned back at a much slower pace, drenched.
"Don't you dare laugh." He did just that as you splashed water at him. He patted your back urging you to sit up. You turned to see Aonung and Tsireya making their way over here. You turned to Ranari to see he had met them halfway and started wrestling with them. Well, that concludes your lesson. You sat on the Ilu casually moving around and glancing around at everyone else until your eyes met that of the Tsahik and Olo'eyktan who were staring intently. You panicked making the Ilu thrash you off of it. What the fuck was it with the animals today? How ungrateful and in front of the leaders of the Metkayina Clan. You seriously contemplated drowning yourself but, that's when Tsireya appeared in front of you hugging you.
"You are humoring today." You fondly rolled your eyes wrapping your arms around her and swaying side to side unaware of your tail wrapping around hers briefly before letting go. "Let's take a break, I picked fruit earlier, come eat with me." She grabbed your hand firmly, waving to her parents as she passed and you smiled with your ears pinned back. You knew Ronal tolerated you at best because of her kids and husband. Thank Eywa for them honestly.
"Where are the two of you off to." She was addressing her daughter but, both of them were staring at you, drilling holes into your face. It took all the prayers to keep eye contact even though you knew you had a purple hue to your face from blushing. Was that a smirk? Oh, those fuckers found it funny making you squirm. You had half a mind to scowl but, before you can entertain the idea further Reya was pulling you to the family Marui with Ronal and Tonowari following from behind. You were allowed in the family Marui only with them present which is understandable. When you got into the Marui, Reya sat between you and her father with Ronal on the other side of Tonowari. The four of you ate in silence until Ronal broke it.
"You are ready for a Tsurak. It's been a month already." Your head shot up to meet her blue gaze in shock.
"R-really? I mean Tsireya and Aonung are amazing teachers and have a lot of patience with me and for that I thank them." It seemed more was going to be said but, a loud horn was blared making the fruit in your hand go flying. Damn, you were enjoying it too.
"Tsireya comes, you stay here until we return." It was ordered as you watched all three of them disappear. It took you entirely too long to realize that Ronal trusted you enough to leave you alone in their home.
