Chapter Text
The stack of papers taunted the man who sat beside them.
Stanley was sitting at his desk after being handed said stack of papers, while he should’ve been copying down every little piece of information on the paper onto his computer he instead found himself folding the paper into the best paper aeroplane he had ever seen in his life. He couldn’t help it, an office job was the worst job for someone like Stanley- his friends joked that if he ever got an office job the whole office would be burnt down in five minutes and Stanley would be arrested for arson and attempted murder, luckily though it hadn’t got to that point. Yet. Stanley only took up the job because it was the only local job that paid well while he tried to get his art career off the ground. While Stanley found himself lost in thought he noticed that he was unable to control his body which meant there was nothing holding him back from throwing the perfect plane. It flew and flew and flew, did a spin, flew some more until-
It hit Carrie straight in the eye.
Carrie was the floor manager and a very, very strict woman, get on her bad side and you were done for. Her grey hair was held up in a tight bun and Stanley wondered, from the time of his long hair, how she could not be in agony 24/7. She wore a tight checked pencil skirt and blazer to match it and her blouse was immaculate unlike Stanley's shirt, Stanley always wore his tie loose with his top button undone and paint splatters found their way onto his shirt no matter how many times he tried to wash it off. Fear (and a sense of excitement) washed through Stanley as he watched the terrifying woman march towards him ready to kill him on the spot. Her voice was calm. OH FUCK HER VOICE WAS CALM.
This was not good.
See, Carrie was a lot like a black widow spider: she’ll talk to you calmly, create a false sense of security, make you think she is on your side until you find yourself dead. Well not dead- You find yourself with her brother: The boss of the office. Slowly, as a predator would stalk its prey, she approached. Stanley tried to find a way out but he knew he couldn’t.
“Stanley, did you hear me?” She said her voice sounded like dark chocolate mixed with arsenic. Stanley groaned and rubbed his face, leaning back on his chair .
“Yes…”
“Then do as I say.” Her tone switched from delicate to harsh in an instant, he was fucked. More than fucked. He simply nodded and stood up.
Once Stanley reached the hallway his facade dropped. He had to admit he was a pretty good actor, playing the role of a helpless worker who feared the boss and his office. Everyone was scared of the boss, right? The man was a figure to be feared and respected, with his dark pressed, perfect suit and straight yellow tie. Hair that was slowly greying lay immaculately on his head (except a small stand that deviated and lay across his face) and his voice that, much like his sisters, told you if you were doomed or not. His office also reflected this, crimson walls marked an end for you and the dark mahogany desk sat the man that would choose your fate. Everyone feared the boss, Everyone but stanley. Stanley had found a different side to the man, he had seen his perfectly pressed suit thrown onto a pile on a velvet chair that faced the desk; the desk that Stanley had found himself being pressed against more than once as the boss- Stanley stopped his train of thoughts before he could go a deeper red colour.
Doors loomed over him as Stanley strolled casually towards his fate; no-one would dare do this. Every other person who dared to approach the office, meekly stood outside and contemplated whether knocking on the door and seeing what was inside was really worth whatever came to them- many came to the conclusion it wasn’t and didn’t knock. Stanley didn’t knock either but he also didn’t leave. He burst through the doors smiling mischievously, he knew how much the boss hated people coming into his office, especially without knocking. The boss leaped out of his chair at the intrusion and looked up to the younger man who was snickering at his reaction.
“Oh it’s you” He sighed sitting back down on his leather chair ( a chair that Stanley was very used to being in)
“Miss me, sir?” Stanley smirked walking over to the desk where the other man was seated
“Stanley how many times have I told you, you can call me Neil” Neil reminded him leaning back slightly in his chair, Stanley circled the desk and stood next to him contemplating where he could sit, he decided the desk would be the perfect place… for now.
“Hm I know but I also know you like being called sir” a small blush painted Neil’s face as he looked away from the man.
“So why are you here Stanley?” He asked getting back to his paperwork
“I just wanted to see you” Stanley said innocently, Neil looked up at him and pushed his glasses up his face a bit more
“What’s the actual reason you're here?” He interrogated not letting the question go
“I made a paper aeroplane” He started to admit
“And?” Neil pushed him
“What do you mean, and?,that's it” Stanley crossed his arms
“Don’t lie to me Stanley, you know what happens when you lie to me.” Neil said sternly
“Oh, do I now?” Stanley smirked again, liking where the conversation was getting him.
“Just tell me Stanley.” Neil said obviously getting a bit pissed off at the man sitting on his desk
“Why should I?” Stanley teased, he loved doing this, loved getting a reaction out of the older man.
“Because I have something to offer if you tell me” an offer? Stanley thought. He was definitely intrigued.
“Fine, I threw it and it might have hit Carrie in the eye?” Stanley admitted quietly, he wasn’t scared of Neil… mostly, but when it came to his sister he could become very over protective, though Stanley had to admit that when he became “scared” of Neil there was also another feeling going on- the train of thought was stopped once again and a hand laid itself on Stanley’s thigh. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. Stanley felt himself become a deep red colour as the other man spoke.
“If you hurt my sister again the consequences will be unimaginary.” Stanley let out a small noise at his dangerous tone avoiding all eye contact with him. He heard Neil chuckle softly to himself at Stanley's reaction.
“Though I suppose you did tell me… here's my offer” Stanley listened intently, curiosity taking over him. “I have a work party to attend this Saturday with other big company owners and on the invite it says I can bring a plus one, as you are younger and have a lot of bright ideas-”
“And we’ve fucked multiple times” Stanley butted in knowing where the explanation was leading
“Yes and that” Neil admitted “ I was wondering if you would like to be my plus one.”
Without saying another word, Stanley moved from his perch on his boss's desk and instead slipped into his lap, straddling his waist. He softly kissed the other man's neck and whispered into his ear,
“I’d love to.”
The other man groaned slightly at the new position they were in and took a hold of Stanley’s chin in one hand, tilting his head up to face him. Stanley took note of his features; his eyes that started off almond but trickled to the colour of gold, the slight stubble that marked his face and that Stanley loved to feel against his bare skin, the deviant strand of hair that was lighter than all the other parts of his hair, his soft pink lips that had formed a small smirk.
“You look ravishing darling~” He whispered as one of his hands slipped under the younger man's shirt. Stanley let out a small whimper and he connected lips with Neil’s, they were warm and soft and he felt as if he could get lost in the sensation of warmth around him, he felt a tongue slip into his mouth and he started to softly grind against the man's waist. He felt the vibrations of Neil's groans against his lips and he ground down harder feeling his cock grow harder beneath him. They had done this so many times before but it never got boring; he loved winding the other man up, loved when he put him in his place, loved the things he whispered to him, loved the feeling of skin against skin, loved the feeling of him. Loved him.
He shouldn’t love him.
This was purely a way to let their feelings and frustrations out, no feelings involved.
Curse whoever made Stanley a fucking hopeless romantic. Curse whoever gave him feelings for a man he knew he could never be with. Curse them and curse him.
But for now Stanley let his brain think it was real, let his brain imagine them together, let his brain have a life together with this man.
The kiss grew deeper and he felt hands grab onto his hips helping him grind down more unto the man. A harmony of words danced their way into his ear telling him how pretty he was and how good he was doing. Nothing could break this moment.
Nothing but the soft knocking on the doors of the office.
Neil broke the kiss quickly and pushed Stanley off his lap. Stanley understood why, of course, but something inside him ached slightly at the reaction. He made his way to the velvet chair in front of his desk and sat down.
“Come in,” Neil called out, fixing his tie slightly. The colossal doors opened to reveal a small woman standing behind them, Stanley recognised the woman but he didn’t know where from.
“Ah, Angelica come in” Neil smiled softly at the woman, then it clicked in Stanley's mind- it was his secretary. She waltz past Stanley and lay a mug on Neil's desk. Neil thanked her and turned back to his paperwork. She did not move.
“You can go now” He said barley regarding her,
“Yes about that,” She muttered
“Hm?” Neil looked up at her
“There is a man asking about your invite to the party meeting thing this weekend” She explained. Neil considered this a moment.
“Tell him I found a plus one” She looked shocked and her face dusted a slight pink,
“Oh really who?” She asked in a more flirtatious tone as if Stanley wasn’t sitting right there in front of them.
“Stanley.” Neil smiled innocently, not revealing what they had almost done just moments ago, He saw her face drop and Stanley felt a small bit of triumph in his heart. She walked out of the office without another word.
Neil turned back to Stanley,
“I’m sorry about that Stanley, while I would love to get back to what we were doing I do need to finish my work and so do you; no more paper aeroplanes” Stanley smiled softly
“No more paper aeroplanes” he said as he walked over to his boss. He lay a small kiss on his cheek and ran off.
“Can’t wait for saturday!”
