Atsushi's world was turned upside down when he discovered he had the power to time travel. He had always been fascinated with the concept of time, but actually being able to manipulate it was beyond his dreams. he never thought he would have possession of an powerful ability.
At first, Atsushi was in awe of what he could do. He travelled back to see historic moments like the moon landing and Columbus discovering America. He even travelled to the future to see what life would be like in a hundred years or more. He saw funerals that made him gasp or break into tears.
But as time went on, Atsushi grew weary of his power. He had seen enough of the past and future to know that there were some things that were better left unseen. He also realized that no matter how much he travelled through time, he couldn't change the present.
One day, Atsushi found himself in the year 1912. He was walking along the deck of the Titanic when he stumbled upon a young woman staring wistfully at the horizon. He recognized her immediately - it was his grandmother, who had died before he was born. He was only told stories about her from someone who he has forgotten.
Atsushi felt a pang of sadness as he realized that he would never have the chance to meet her in person. He sat down next to her and they talked for hours, despite her not being able to see him.
As the ship hit the iceberg and began to sink, Atsushi felt a sense of panic rising within him. He knew he had to leave, but he couldn't bring himself to abandon his grandmother as she succumbed to the freezing dark water.

In that moment, Atsushi realized that his power was a curse. He couldn't change the past, but he was forced to relive it over and over again. He was stuck in a never-ending loop, unable to escape the tragedies he had witnessed.
From that point on, Atsushi resolved to only use his power to make small changes in the present, rather than travelling through time. He knew that it wouldn't take away his pain completely, but it was a start of his journey.
