Zhongli didn't expect to fall in love with a mortal.
Especially, with someone who almost drowned his whole nation.
But, here he was. He fell in love with a fatui harbinger.
Named Tartaglia, or Childe.
First, they were just business partners, then friends.
And now, you could say lovers.
First, Zhongli only thought those feelings for Childe were fake, just his mind playing with him.
He simply couldn't believe that he fell in love for a mortal.
That never happened before.
It rather shouldn't ever happen.
Since, he is an archon.
He will live forever.
But a mortal?
He'll die eventually...
But Zhongli couldn't help it.
He fell for Childe more and more harder.
There were times when he couldn't wait to speak with Childe again.
He wanted to be in his presence.
He wanted to hear is voice.
Feel his presence.
See his beautiful eyes.
His beautiful smile.
Childe was like his angel,
He was perfect.
The day when Childe had to leave Lyiue to get back to Snezhnaya.
Zhongli felt sad. Angry, depressed.
His sunshine was leaving. He probably won't see him for months, maybe years, maybe never forever.
Zhongli couldn't let that happen.
He had to do something.
Something he thought he would never have to do..
And that is. To kidnap Childe.
If he will be in his care. He will never leave him.
He will be always forever his.
Who knows.
Maybe his sunshine will eventually get why.
Why he never let him go.
He'll understand.
He doesn't have a choice after all..
