Ranboo always had a dislike for crowds, especially if he was in a hurry. The Clock showed 10:30 and for Ranboo that was already way too far behind schedule, for Dream that was exactly in time and schedule:" Come on Ranboo, we're nearly there. And even then we still have fifteen-ish minutes." That got the blond a glare from the younger which he completly ignored. "Well, if a certian green eyed brother of mine wouldn't have slept til 9:30 I wouldn't be so panicked. What if we forgot something? Or worse got into the wrong train station? O god, are we at the right train station?!" Dream just shook his head, some people just worried about everything and some about nothing. He himself was a good mix of it, he was often worried about his friends.... when he had them. But he didn't really worry about things like rules or time. " Look Ran, there it is. The letter said to just go through the wall. I will go first, you come after. Then we'll search for somewhere to sit. Okay?" Ranboo gave the other a nod and followed.
Techno didn't really dislike Kings Cross, but you couldn't say he loved it either. The worst on it was Tommy. Tommy was so excited to meet up with Tubbo that he just couldn't shut his mouth. So it made Techno feel relief when they finally got to their 'oh so beloved wall'. He would just straight up run through it without Wilbur and Tommy, but he didn't because of a stupid promise they made as first years. Oh how he regretted that promise sometimes, but at least he could sit with the others when he was in the train. " Well Tommy, you gonna come or would you like to stay at Kings Cross?" Wilbur asked the youngest of the sibling troup. The blond was still chatting with Tubbo who just came at the same time as they did :" Well, then you'll have to wait a minute. Don't you see I'm chatting? But yea, here i am. So let's go!" How Tommy could be so energetic was a mistery to them, but so was how George could sleep all the damn time. It was around 10:35 as they all found their regular compartments. Wilbur always sat in one with Techno, Fundy and one or two others. Tommy always sat in one with Tubbo, at some point they dragged Purpled with them and a few others.
Dream was surprised, even though he knew the wall was ok and save to go through. He was still somehow surprised he didn't crash. Oh well, Patches as well seemed surprised, even though Dream couldn't really tell, but she meowed a lot while going through that wall so he just assumed.
Ranboo was behind him, his Cat Enderchest having the same reaction as well. He now was following Dream and trying not to get lost between all the parents. When they got into the train Dream had an idea:" How about we try to be social with a challenge. Who gets themself a friend first wins. No cheating. I go left, you go right?"
Ranboo wasn't that sure at first, but he would eventually need someone as a friend so why not getting one now? "Sure, I don't really see why not." They gave each other a nod before going into said direction.
Dream found a compartment with a few students in it, why not try? "Uhh, well hello. I'm new here and I uh... kind of need somewhere to sit, so would it be okay if I-" Dream gestured to the free seat. The brunette that had the free seat beside him looked at the others. they all nodded. "Sure, why not. I'm George Notfound." Dream smiled at him and said :" Your last name's a little bit wierd. But I don't really get a say in that with mine though. I'm Dream Wastaken." While also talking to the others he found out that the other three were named Sapnap, Karl and Quackity. Those three were dating since their third year was what George told him. "I heard that you have like houses? Yea, well and in which ones are you?" Karl took word :" Well, I'm in Hufflepuff. We're known for our kindness and love for animals and plants and just anything that has something to do with caring for something." Next one who spoke up was Sapnap: " Q and me are in Gryffindor. While Hufflepuff is known for kindness, Gryffindor is known for bravery and loyalty." Then George looked all serious while saying his:" I am in the probabaly best house, Ravenclaw. We are known to be clever and wise." Quackity now answered :" You? Clever? Maybe, but you're everything but wise dear brother mine." That resulted in an argumentation the others just laughed about.
Ranboo wasn't so sure if he really wanted to go into the compartment but he now did it. "Hello, I am new and wanted to ask if I could sit here. It's okay to say no though!" While a blond with a red robe wanted to protest a short brunette already yelled :" Yay new friend! Of course come here! I'm Tubbo Underscore. You are?" Ranboo put away his suitcase and then answered:" I'm Ranboo Wastaken."
The other blond boy who just watched the scene laughed, to which the earlier mentioned blond just said :" You can't really say anything Purpled, your last name is Wood." "You think you have something to say Theseus?" While Purpled and ?Theseus? were bickering Tubbo explained that Theseus was actually called Tommy, which also seemed to be better fitting in Ranboos eyes. But if they would be like this the whole ride, then it would be a really long one. And it was barley 11:20.
