Work Text:
We all know Midoriya with his fanboy behaviour right?
Well a certain theorist in 1A has decided to investigate the what seems to be mentor&mentee relationship but looks alot like father&son.
Now i always thought myself at least slightly observant and as midoriya-kun was my first real friend i just want to let him know i know why the retired no.1 hero gives him special treatment outside of class.
So im spending a few hours collecting supplies for a new drawing board im putting up about all the teachers love children (which may or may not include all might) in 1st year of UA.That's when i heard-
'TODOROKI-KUN'
I knew that my day of buying more red string for my drawing board about love children was flung (with both arms, head first and from the10th floor) out the window and put on hold.
After waiting a moment for the sound of shoes running against stone to become closer I question:
"Hello midoriya-kun are you with one of your fathers?"
Midoriya look at me puzzled whilst sliding to a stop at my side.
"Ehhhh........what?" He wheezed pausing to breath.
"Oh are you not? My mistake." I stated.
".........but Todoroki-kun my father is working over seas?" Midoriya asked seeming to question himself.
Midoriya looked at me with the most dumbfounded look for a moment until a realisation of absolute dread washed over his confused expression and a bright pink started to creep up his neck
"Are you talking about all might?" He squeaked out while glancing around to see if anyone's listening.
"Partially " I admitted, "although i did not state it and you came to that conclusing by yourself".
Midoriya simply turned a darker shade of pink (more of a red now really) eyes glued to the floor swiveled around on his trademark red shoes and speed walked away whilst mumbling about something.
Probably how he gave himself away.Well more evidence for my board anyway.
That's alright I won't tell anyone anyway. I decided.
I then went back to studying the different tacks and coloured thread,
Maby I should colour coordinate the different thread to different father possibilities, I thought as I weighed the black and yellow in my hand.
