In the beginning, in the garden of Eden, a woman was created for Adam. A certain Devil also slithered up into the garden as well. There they had the most incredible fun. It was until the Devil heard about the forebidden tree that God did not allow them to eat from.
He tempted Eve to eat a fruit off the tree and she passed the fruit to Adam who also took a bite. God came down and cursed them all. The Devil slithered away back to hell as Adam and Eve braved the new world.

“Eve! Are you okay?” Adam was scared for his wife. She was giving birth and neither of them were sure what to do.
“I’m alright,” she was gasping for breath as she kept pushing, “is the child doing okay?”
“Yes, you’re doing great, keep going.”
When she finally finished, Adam gently washed the blood off the child.
“What shall we name him?” He said as he laid down next to his wife and child.
“Cain. We shall be named Cain.” Eve said as she held onto her child.

Many moons later, after Cain had finally fell asleep, Eve approached her husband.
“Adam, do you feel anything off about our child? Like he’s-“
“Divine. Our child isn’t human, or at least not fully,” Adam sighed. They didn’t notice it at first but after they understood on how to care for the child, they started noticing a certain glow off him.
“Do you think it’s Lucifer’s then?” Eve asked. She walked closer to her husband.
“He has to be. He’s the only other option after all. The next time an angel comes to us, we’ll ask if they can ask Lucifer to come back up here.” Adam hugged his wife. His child or not, he will still treat Cain as his own.

Months later, Gabriel came down to talk with the pair of humans to deliver a message. More of a heads up actually. She came down to tell them that harvest season was coming up so they should start preparing for their offering for God.
She delivered the message and was about to fly back up until Adam asked to deliver a message.
“Sure I guess, I can’t guarantee Father will respond but alright.”
Adam shook his head, “No the message isn’t for God, it’s for Lucifer. You can do that right?”
Gabriel’s eyes blew wide. “Samael? Why do you want to deliver a message to him?”
Eve spoke this time. “Can you please tell him to come back up? We promise we’ll explain everything to him if he does.”
“I’m not sure I could but I can try I suppose. If he doesn’t come up in a couple days then you’ll know he won’t.” Gabriel said. She spread her wings and flew downwards.

Gabriel had no idea where Samael could be down here. She’s never had to deliver a message down here before.
“Samael? Where are you?” She called out.
Lucifer flew down from his throne and stood in front of Gabriel.
“My name is Lucifer and what are you even doing down here Gabriel?” Lucifer asked as he stood there.
“You know the human couple up on Earth?” Lucifer snorted. Of course he knew. “Right, so they said they want to see you and they’ll explain why if you go up there.”
“Why would they want to see me? I got them expelled from Eden.”
“I don’t know. They just said they wanted to see you. It sounded urgent too. I should go back to heaven now anyways. Bye Sam- I mean Lucifer.” Gabriel spread her wings and flew up.
Lucifer stood there thinking about it before calling out. “Mazikeen! I’m going to leave for Earth for a while. I’ll be back soon! I think.”
Lucifer then spread his wings and flew upwards.

Lucifer appeared outside of Adam and Eve’s house. He slowly walks inside and spots the couple entertaining Cain.
“Oh look at you two with an offspring.” Lucifer said as Adam and Eve turn around.
“Lucifer…” Eve breathes out.
“Why do both of you want me here? Gabriel told me you want me here but I don’t believe since-“
Adam came forward this time. “You got us kicked out of Eden. We know and while we’re still upset about that, there’s more important things. Such as your son.” He gestured towards Cain.
“My what,” Lucifer's eyes became wide. “Angels can’t procreate so that’s clearly your son. I mean how would I even create a child? I wasn’t there planning this with you guys.”
“You did though? You did have sex with us in the garden. You remember that right?” Eve questioned.
“Right but sex doesn’t make children, I would know that. You have to plan out how you want your child to look and all that.”
Adam blinked. “You don’t know how childbirth works do you…”
“Eve just creates them with her hands doesn’t she? I mean how else are you supposed to do it?”
Eve started giggling while Adam sighed quietly. “No, she doesn’t just create them. We’ll- we’ll explain to you so sit down.”
He sat on the ground with the couple as they explained the ‘birds and the bees’. Cain slowly falls asleep to the sound of Lucifer’s shocked and scared gasps and Eve’s continuous laughter.
“So what you’re saying is, you think Cain is my child because he doesn’t feel like yours? How- how are you so sure?”
“We aren’t. That’s why we want you to check and use some kind of miracle to see if he is.” They all got up and gathered towards Cain’s crib. He was a very small newborn child only 2 months old.
“Right well, it doesn’t work like that but I suppose I can see if I can sense any ‘divinity’ from him.” Lucifer gently picks up Cain from his crib. He stirs but doesn’t wake up. Lucifer snaps his finger in front of Cain and he wakes up. Not crying shockingly.
“How do I do this?” Lucifer looks at Adam.
“What? How do you expect us to know? Aren’t you supposed to know how to find out? How do you test people to know if they’re an angel?” Adam asks as he flaps his hands around to look like wings.
“I don’t know because I’ve never had to do it before. I know all of my siblings are angels and you two are the only humans on Earth,” he snarked back at Adam.
“Well maybe you could show your wings and see how he reacts to them?” Eve suggests.
“Great idea! See? At least your wife has some knowledge.” Lucifer says while Adam scoffs.
“Then show your big bird wings you over glorified pigeon.” Lucifer looks offended but still spreads his wings out. Cain stares and tries to reach for them with his tiny hands. Eve starts crooning while Adam stares at the pearly white wings.
“Right this isn’t working. It may be because he isn’t my child. I mean does he have wings? I don’t see them.” Lucifer starts poking Cain’s back but nothing happens.
“Lucifer, can you just accept that you have a child here now? Maybe you can’t see it but Eve and I can tell that the child has divinity making you the father.” Adam stated.
Lucifer scoffs. “Fine, I’ll come back up whenever I can and let’s see if I truly am the father alright?”
“Deal!” Eve said happily.
“Now, I have to go back down to hell before those demons do something stupid. Hell is after much faster than Earthly times.” Lucifer puts the baby down and flies back down to hell.
“Well, can't wait to prove to the big bird that he has a child he needs to be in the life of.” Adam said.
“Mmm and I’m sure in the meantime I could take your mind off doing other things…” Eve gently kisses her husband and he kisses back.

“Me? With a son? Unbelievable.” Lucifer said as he landed in hell with the mindless demons.
