Chapter Text
Niki and Jake had just ended their livestream. After hours of sitting down, Jake wanted to take a walk outside and decided to get some ice cream and asked Niki if he wanted to come along. He declined the offer and told Jake that he was tired, and he really was.
About ten minutes after their livestream ended, Niki went to get himself ready for bed. While Niki was in the shower, he could’ve sworn he heard voices but he couldn’t make out what they were saying. He decided to just brush it off since he was pretty tired. His routine went perfectly fine but that was until he started hearing movement outside of the bathroom. It scared him at first but he realized that he shared a dorm with his other 6 members.
It has now been an hour since Niki got into bed and he was finally gonna go to sleep since his eyelids wouldn’t stop closing. He plugged his phone in and closed his eyes hoping for a productive day tomorrow.

“SOMEBODY, PLEASE HELP ME! anybody please..” Niki whispered the last 2 words. He was crying his eyes out while hiding in the corner of a room. He didn’t even know whose room it was because he was too busy trying to run away from whatever was chasing him. This COULDN'T be a human. There was no way.
This thing had been following him everywhere for the past 20 minutes. The only thing that made this situation 10x worse was that he didn’t have access to his phone because the first instinct he had was to run. He had a knife in his hand while his head was in between his knees as he was crying.
“Niki!”, he swears that the voice is getting closer and closer. Niki starts to crawl further back as he possibly can, until his back makes a loud thump on the wall signaling that he can’t move back any further.
“Niki!!”
“NIKI”
Niki screamed as he felt a harsh tug on his leg. The knife slipped out of his hand as he was being dragged out of his room and down the hallway. He could hear the monster about to speak again-
..
“NIKI!!”
Niki woke up in a big gasp. He shot up from his deep sleep with sweat all over his body. His breathing was harsh. He looked up to see all 6 of his hyungs leaning over him with a look of concern written on all of their faces.
“Are you okay Niki? We heard your rough breathing from down the hall.”, Jake says.
“It must’ve been a nightmare. Do you wanna tell us about it?” Jay asks. Riki just shakes his head, “I’m fine.” He smiles a little before pulling the covers off of his body and getting up to get ready for the day.
Jake looks at the rest of his members and whispers, “I can definitely tell that something’s wrong.”
After a while, Niki meets the rest of his members downstairs for breakfast. The thoughts going on inside his head made him more anxious than ever. They had an episode of en-o'clock to film today so Niki would most likely have to put on a facade.
Much after breakfast, all the members had gotten ready to leave their dorms to go and shoot the en-o'clock episode.
“We’re gonna go downstairs to the car Niki, whenever you’re ready you can come.” Jay says. Riki just nods in approval. While Riki was putting his socks on, he noticed that one of his members left their laptop open on the nightstand. His mind got the best of him and he grabbed it, immediately going to google. He seriously wanted to know what was going on with him because he had never gotten nightmares before.
‘What do nightmares mean?’
‘Why am I suddenly receiving them?’
‘ Why does it feel so real?’
‘ Why am I getting hallucinations?’
All of those questions he asked yet none of the answers made sense to him. He hesitantly closed the laptop before heading downstairs.
As Niki steps outside of the house, “finally!!” Jay yells. As Niki gets in the car, he starts the car and drives off. “What took you so long?” Sunoo asks Niki.
“Oh! U-um I had to find my other sock. Yeah..” He can’t help but stutter when that question comes up. Sunoo just chuckles.
Niki looks out the window and hopes that everything goes fine for the rest of the day. He can feel his eyelids starting to get heavy and ends up resting his head on the window. But suddenly, he sees this dark shadow and it makes him jump up. It was standing right in front of the car window that he was leaning his head against but as soon as it appeared, it went away. Niki was happy that none of his members noticed his reaction.
Weird.
