My only saving grace was that I wasn’t killed by Truck-kun. I didn’t want to die if I didn’t have to, but at least I didn’t go out in such a cliché way, especially considering what happened next.
I woke up in the body of one Lila Rossi, an antagonist in the kids’ show Miraculous Ladybug. Well, there was something to get out of the way before that.
[User’s new name is Delilah Mae Rossi, who is currently six years old. User has the next eight years to get herself the life Lila always wanted before the plot of Miraculous kicks off. When User arrives in Paris, User must maintain a good reputation and become a superhero. Live a rich, famous, and happy life, and make sure Marinette doesn’t. “What the absolute fuck?” I said. I’m eloquent like that. And if the floating pop-up screen didn’t want me swearing, maybe it shouldn’t have come near me.

“Let me think!” I snapped. “Okay, so I just died, and now you want me to get myself killed again working for Hawkmoth?”
[Working under Hawkmoth is not Lila’s true desire, merely a means to an end. If the User can successfully rise above Ladybug without resorting to supervillainy, she is welcome to do so.]
“And what are you, exactly?” I asked. If I could raise my eyebrows separately, I would have lifted one just now.
[I am your Fully Integrated, non-Optional New-life Assistant, FIONA for short!]
Non-optional probably meaning I couldn’t delete the software or get FIONA out of my head. Ever. Oh, joy.
“And how helpful are you going to be, FIONA? Are you going to punish me for messing up, or try to control exactly how I do things? Do you offer special abilities or items, and how hard are they to get? How much will you actually answer my questions?”
[User can be assured that she will receive a unique and pleasant experience, allowed to advance down any path she wishes. User can earn happiness points to spend on abilities by completing missions, raising her reputation, and pleasing the original Lila. User will also start with a number of points, to be spent as desired. Items are rarer and will be more expensive than abilities. If User has any questions, of course FIONA will be happy to answer!]
“What happens if I don’t accept your stupid quest?”
[User will die. It will be very unfortunate. The user should probably just accept her mission.]
“Alright,” I sighed. “Let’s see that stupid mission.”
[Mission: Live, Laugh, Loathe. Step into the role of Lila Rossi and achieve her dream life.
Objectives:
(1) Become talented in at least three well-regarded fields, such as singing, athletics, or cooking.
(2) Maintain high grades and ensure the favor of your teachers.
(3) Become popular among the students in your school(s).
(4) Gain useful contacts among the wealthy and famous.
(5) Achieve celebrity status.
(6) Become a superhero.
(7) Attain a better public image than Ladybug as your superhero persona.
