If you haven't seen yet, I'm sorry you have to hear it from silly old me. Wilbur himself confirmed that he was Shubble's abusive ex on Twitter, and his "apology" was less than sub-par.
Technoblade will offically be replacing Wilbur, and Wilbur will not make any appearances going forwards. (Though, if you have any suggestion for characters that are close to Phil and could potentially be his sidekick, please let me know!! Right now I'm thinking Chyanne or nothing, but at the same time Jack Manifold or something would be absolutely HILARIOUS. anyway back to the serious--)
I suggest you all stop following, watching, and listening to Wilbur AND Lovejoy. There are always other people to watch and other bands to listen to. (If you only ever listen to Lovejoy and you don't know what else to listen to, I would suggest Surf Curse, Vundabar, Current Joys, Sir Chloe, and Penelope Scott. While they're not the same, they have a reletively similar sound.)
I also want to tell you all that you are not a bad person for wanting it to not be true, or for this all to be a big misunderstanding. We all loved Wilbur Soot, and it's hard to so abruptly stop liking him. While it's not fun to shun one of your favourite people, you should never EVER support an abuser. It's okay to dissapear for a little, maybe even leave the fandom completely. It's okay to do that for your own mental health or just because you want to.
We should all respect and support Shubble and everyone else coming out about Wilbur Soot's abusive behavior. Seperating the character from the "actor" is still a very grey zone, but you should not feel bad for wishing to enjoy the CHARACTER Wilbur. Maybe just wait a bit to post anything related to him that isn't explicitly saying that you don't support him, and even then make sure to say "I do not support CC Wilbur" for the future.
I hate him and how this turned out as much as I'm sure you all do as well. Feel free to give (BREIF AND NOT IN DEPTH WITH TWS) vents in the comments on this chapter. (keep in mind that this chapter will be deleted with the next update, though.)
